I'm curious to know how Nightfalls and Weekly strikes will work now with the new strike(s) coming with the DLC. Are they just going to be thrown into the current rotation?

Also, Nightfalls are going to be a ***** for me if I don't hurry up and get to 30 since they are raising the Nightfalls to level 30.

Yep, and they'll be at Level 30 now instead of 28.

I'm a little upset old Legendaries will be phased out, but it's all relative. How much of a difference is there between a 300 attack and 323 attack weapon if the enemy is your same level or below anyway?

It'll mostly matter if your enemy is higher leveled. As I'm sure there will be L32 foes in the normal Crotas End.

I have reached Level 27. I don't think I can go any further until I acquire some more Ascendant Shards as I only have 4 and I need 12 to finish maxing out my helmet.

I'm not sure what to do regarding my Legendary Gear. I bought the Discipline helmet and chest from the Titan leader and I have the boots from the normal Raid, but I'm not sure about whether or not I should get the Intellect gloves so that I am well rounded or just get the Discipline ones to match. I tend to use my grenades more (Discipline) than my super (Intellect), but I am also currently leveling up my Defense sub-class so that I can use the shield during the hard Raids (when I start doing them).

Decisions, decisions.

I thought I read they were adding a level 30 option, not just flat-out changing the nightfall to 30? Maybe I'm confusing this with the weekly strikes. Good thing I'll have two warlocks at 30 tomorrow.

Decisions, decisions.

I'd focus on your super versus grenades. It's much more useful, particularly as a defender in the raid(s) where your protective bubble and weapons of light can really make a difference in the outcome of a battle. I really need to learn to use mine more when my Titan raids, particularly on hard mode.

Not sure if you are getting the DLC, but if you are I would hold out on upgrading your gear as their will be new Legendary armor available with higher attack and defense numbers. I'm assuming that means it will be L30 gear.

I go grenades as double void grenades in raids come handy. With hunters around there is never a shortage of orbs.

Entrance I use striker, conflux blessing of light, Templar weapons of light, gatekeeper either works depending where you're at and of course weapons for Atheon.

I agree though, and never have enough grenades. I seldom use supers except when the situation calls for weapons of light or fireborn.

Thanks, Biz, that's good information. I've been running two grenades, also, mainly for the now nerfed Templar cheese. As I said earlier, I need to learn how to use my Titan better for the benefit of the raid group, and this helps.

Sounds like exchanged exotics will start at 300 damage, tree will still be reset though.

Progress reset to upgrade an exotic is absolute horse crap. I spent resources, glimmer, and 18 energy to max out my Ice Breaker. Why not just offer a tier upgrade for old exotics at the cost of one exotic shard without the reset?

Adding a commendation just to purchase gear or weapons is ridiculous. For instance, I'm leveling Dead Orbit faction through PVE. Dead Orbit gear takes Crucible marks. PVE gives me Vanguard marks. How can I spend Vanguard marks when I need a Vanguard commendation, which you can only get by hitting the next reputation level of Vanguard.

The only change I do like is the addition of the Exotic Shard for exotic weapons.
