I hope those caps are compressed for online hosting and not representative. They're artifact laden.

UPDATE - see my posting a few posts later in this thread. The caps I was viewing clearly weren't sourced from the Facebook/official caps.

Just pre-ordered Opera...and knowing my luck, the special edition release will be announced Jan 23.

Just curious which post you are referring to, and what title. The DVD Beaver caps for Opera look great, and although I have only skimmed the last few pages, I don't see any bashing. I made some comments about the Murder Rock caps someone posted, saying they are artifact laden (they are, looks like HD off YouTube, or 10Mbps MPEG2 cable TV). I can't imagine that would float. I want to know the source and if these aren't representative...

UPDATE!!! POST 8001 should remove those caps. I found the Facebook link, saved the caps there and they look fine. The caps in the post here look terrible and not like the caps on Facebook.

For what exactly? The difference in color timing? Ignoring that difference, Opera looks fantastic and might be the best I've seen from Scorpion or Code Red.

Edit: Are you referring to another title?

No, he's referring to Opera. There are pages about this already in the Opera thread. I don't think the complaints need to be reposted in another thread to further spread ill will. :P

The framing is off. The picture quality itself is being universally praised, and a clear winner over the Koch/ European release.

But the framing is off center.

I highly doubt you'll see a replacement disc ever being announced.

I wouldn't expect a replacement or upgrade of Humongous any time soon, but DEATH SHIP and HOUSE ON SORORITY ROW shows there is a possiblity of one a few years down the road.

they really do - the off center framing some are pointing out is just being nitpicky

WOW ! I am really liking this original artwork for the reversible cover for the upcoming re-release of The Unseen.
It has me interested in the title, I think I might have to pick this one up. WALT Keep commissioning this artist for your covers

I was going to comment saying how that style looks very similar to Devon Whiteheads, then I saw Devon scrawled in the bottom of the artwork and noticed it was also posted to his instagram. Glad to see him getting some cover commissions, that's pretty awesome.

I think the cover is gawd awful. Thankfully the film sucks so I wasn't picking it up anyway.

Also, that crappy art for CONCRETE JUNGLE is a big reason why I haven't been in a hurry to pick it up.
