The Abyss is on AMC soon.
I'm not sure wether to watch it or not. I'd rather watch it on Blu, but that isn't possible yet. I love that movie and haven't seen it in forever, so this'll be a tough call.

Getting older sucks. I used to have so many damn friends, I always had something to do all day everyday. Now, I have 3 friends I barely see. Life sucks.

YouTube needs to get rid of every resolution under 720p. Watching a video in 140p is a joke and they should be ashamed.

I de-activated my Facebook (temporarily) a couple days ago and yesterday got two phonecalls from relatives asking me what's wrong.
Hahaha.
Maybe ditching FB is a good thing.

I'd imagine the majority of their videos are in 480p or less, but having a HD only site would be neat, but you'd have to sign-up for it. I'm not sure if you can excluded resolutions in their searches?

While washing the truck yesterday afternoon, there was a helicopter circling constantly about two blocks behind our home. A young fella was walking on the sidewalk and said to me "Didya hear about the bear?" I said "That explains the helicopter. What are you doing walking?" He replied that he was close to home and was hurrying back there. My wife later told me that Wildlife had shot and killed the bear. I find that pretty sad.
There's discussion on the 'net and lots of people are saying that they should've tried to tranquillize and relocate the bear before killing it. Although there are others saying that Wildlife had no choice, I can't disagree with at least trying to make the effort to tranqualize first, and kill it as a last resort.

I'm wondering why two members here always complain about the most trivial things. Their complaints are not even valid and it is annoying hearing them complain so much about petty things.

I agree with you. Sometimes I think wildlife officials are too quick to pull the trigger on some of these bear encounters. Unless the bear has attacked or killed someone I don't think the bear has to be put down. I know bear's can be a pain in the ass, but sometimes it's the human's fault. Many times people do not take precautions such as not securing their rubbish containing food and other things that bears would have an interest in. We can live and coexist with bears, but we have to do our part to make the things that we can control are taken care of.

Fricken Yankees are doing some payback to the Blue Jays for last weekend and watching the lost opportunity is killing me.

Found out today that I'm being made redundant. It couldn't have come at a worse time, considering I'm in the process of packing up my possessions and moving in with my other half by the end of the month. Let the job-hunting commence.

I full on deleted mine a few years back. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. As the years go on, I care less and less what's going on in other people's lives. The most important people in my life know how to contact me. Everyone else was left in the dust, too bad.

I gotta thumbs up this post. I've basically stopped using mine. The people that still matter will let you know about their lives regardless.

Because there was a world before HD video existed. And there are some videos from the past that are worth seeing. Music, sports, historic etc.

not talkin' about those. i realize there are older videos out there that can't possibly be in 720p. but newer videos? it should be at LEAST 720p or higher.

Because of the low cloud ceiling and lots of fog, there hasn't been a plane here for three days. I was starting to feel bad for all the workers who were supposed to be heading home but are unable to. Now after having supper, I'm concerned about the food situation. The food was okay but sure seemed like stuff thrown together. Unless we get a plane, I think the food here is gonna start to suck really bad.

I'm feeling very optimistic. I'll be moving in with my other half in five days and I've had two call-backs regarding job vacancies, which makes my upcoming redundancy much easier to swallow.

I REALLY want a projector. The thought of a projector and a 100 plus inch screen makes me squee like a fan boy but makes my wallet weep.
