I’m sure if anyone could make a release of a film like that desirable then it’s Arrow.

So presumably TMNT is a November title? I had been expecting an early, separate announcement for Shawscope Vol. 4 (as we've got with the other sets), so that probably won't be a November release. Maybe December?

Speaking of which, what movies have been confirmed for Shawscope Vol. 4 beyond Oily Maniac?

My biggest beef with Arrow's limited edition model is the dropping of discs. I don't particularly care if I miss on the artcards, slipcover, posters, stickers, booklets (which often have pretty terrible essays), but alternate cuts, bonus films, etc are something I do care about missing.

It'll really suck when The Stuff UHD sales out of the limited edition because that bonus Blu-ray of the pre-release cut is the only one of the two that is framed correctly and there is a 0% chance of Arrow ever correcting the UHD.

I'm looking forward to the TMNT announcement. I wonder whether pre-orders will be available on Rarewaves tomorrow or Friday.

Unless you were 11-14 in 1989 they’re shit.

I was 18.

Didn't one of them star Rob Van Winkle?

I was 10. Saw the original at the drive-in. I remember being glad when it was over, and then I promptly forgot all about it and have had zero desire to revisit as an adult.

Well, I sat through the film with my nephew and disliked it. Does that qualify me as a hater? I’ve never figured out what that’s supposed to mean.

Had a reply from HMV about my as yet unposted copy of The Good, The Bad & The Ugly BD set

Thanks for getting in touch.

We do apologise for any disappointment caused by this delay. Whilst we don't have an estimate as to when this stock will arrive with us, I can assure you that we are working as fast as we can to obtain the remaining stock in order to fulfill all remaining orders and we will dispatch this title to you as soon as we receive the stock in our warehouse from our suppliers.

We do thank you for your continued patience in regards to this matter.

So fingers crossed for anyone else still waiting on their copy to!

Been posted a couple of times in the thread, but glad to see it coming. US only title too I'd imagine.

Ah, I guess I missed it. New news to me.

I would assume it will be a US title considering Studio Canal’s got it in the UK.

In honour of the Red Sonja news, I moved my Sword & Sorcery* movies to a dedicated shelf. First such grouping I've made after BFI Flipside, Tigon and Hammer.

* Highlander I don't count. But now I realise I should have gotten a fancier edition of Heavy Metal and also I should get Masters of the Universe.

I don't have the source handy but Battle Wizard was just screening in France from a new Arrow restoration.
