I daresay I enjoyed The Mask back when I saw it at the cinema when I was a teenager, but Jim Carey acting like a complete tit really doesn’t do it for me anymore.

Yeah, Turtles and this are an easy pass for me, I'm afraid.

Some people just don't appreciate pure cinema, I guess.

Exactly my experience - and for Cameron Diaz

He just annoys me. The Truman Show is excellent. Ace Ventura, Liar, Liar - never seen them because of his "performances".

Wondered why The Mask was being mentioned...

Save my money for something I really want. No gif is going to change my mind

Last time someone did that, we got pages of ranting about the "censorship" of Executive Decision!

Yeahhh, The Mask is an easy pass. I can stomach most Jim Carrey performances but this has to be him at his most obnoxious and painfully unfunny.

The Mask - more questionable stuff from the Arrow-WB deal. Though judging by the reaction on here to the Turtles movies, I'm sure these things are selling well.

I do vaguely recall enjoying The Mask but I’ll have to find time to rewatch it before I pre-order. I feel less urgency with big-ish movies like this that are widely available in some form, vs the ones that are only found illegally through like the 3rd generation of a rip from a VHS or something.

I’m always kinda relieved when something comes out that I have no interest in though cause I have such a bad time with FOMO. So the Turtles announcement was great for me because I have literally no attachment to them. Maybe saw 1 episode of the cartoon, never seen the movies.

Initially I'd hoped the WB deal would include classic movies but it doesn't seem to be going that way, so I'll list some good WB titles I'd like to see from recent decades;

Kiss Kiss Bang Bang
Matchstick Men
Rocknrolla
Natural Born Killers
Bridges of Madison County (or any Clint Eastwood film really)
Bonfire of the Vanities

On the bright side, the money saved on not buying The Mask can go towards the inevitable Shawscope Vol.4.
