Quick question. Has anyone's Collectors Edition shipped yet? Mine is still saying pending right no on the RS sight. And my account still hasn't merged over to the CR site. I know it was supposedly suppose to happen by the 25th but not sure if I need to contact them or not. I'll probably hold off for now.

My regular edition from the same order arrived on Saturday, but my Collector's Edition still hasn't shipped.

Mine also hasn't shipped from RightStuf, although I did just get a shipping notification for a bunch of stuff I ordered during the last few days before they closed.

Was the release delayed? Or they just ran out of stock?

Honestly I'm not even sure. I do believe the UK version has been shipping out but not sure if the US version (same thing lol) has. I have seen post in different groups of people getting their CE but don't know if they got it in from RS or not.

From what I've heard second-hand, atrocious print quality.

I need to check mine again, but I submitted the form anyway because why not. I didn't really notice anything wrong with them but I may have been too distracted by how plain the box looks.

Still wish the poster was glossy. The top portion looks like blank printer paper.

Edit: Ahh I think I see the problem. If I hadn't known I probably would have just thought it was a stylistic choice. It's most noticeable on Asuka's card, the colors and shadows look worn and blocky.

After seeing these I just checked mine which I got today (ordered earlier this week from Amazon) and can confirm it's the same.

I'm not really huge on printed matter extras, and I don't see myself reselling this any time soon, so I might just hang on to the crusty ones. The idea of a physical collectible riddled with jpeg artifacts is kind of funny to me anyway.

Now if they fixed the Blu-ray, on the other hand...

The ones included looked like bootleg copies.
Seriously; it looked like they used low quality jpegs. There's pixilation on every card.

My God that looks horrible, Glad there is a replacement program for those. If Only they would do the same for the Banding Issues; I'm glad to have the film in my collection finally but i Noticed the banding immediately while skimming through the movie. What happened to QC?

I went ahead and requested the replacement Eva postcard set even though I already imported the actual A4 posters that were handed out at Japanese movie theaters during the original screenings two years ago. Those even had re-pro signatures by the voice actors for each of the three girls printed on them:

If that's the eva extra booklet with the -120 (i think its called?) manga and other art in the bottom left edit i just zoomed into the pic and now see the 'extra' text that was also given out at JP screenings I got one of those at my imax screening a few weeks ago too. I was assuming it was going to be a translated version but its not which means I can't read it but is still pretty cool. There was also a single double sided version of the posters with the Asuka and Rei pictures (and signatures) on each side too but they had run out of those by the time i went to collect them after the film

Yes, that is the booklet, I just wanted any image of Misato to frame with the other three girls, so the only choice was to use the booklet. And yes, I bought two of the double-sided Rei/Asuka posters so I could display both sides in the frame. I just wanted to be able to display the four Eva Girls together, so i didn't bother with getting the remaining poster of Kaworu. My favorite is the Mari poster though, she is what triggered me to get all four of the posters/booklet.

No, as long as you can provide proof (i.e. a receipt) you purchased it.
