Oh man being associated with one of the best teams in the conference in the two top sports when your school could use all the help it could get. Such a shame to be associated with that.

lol chill... I'm just ball breaking balls , honestly we'll make a S* ton of money packing in fans who want to see a top team, hell I'd rather go see Urban Meyer than had FSU been #1


I'm watching more maryland coverage since 2pm on the big10 network then I've seen all year on our football team

So does that mean if Maryland's wins in the B10/ACC challenge we get that for the B10 right?

Also the conference needs to come up with a new name. It's long overdue.

lol I have no idea if its a 1 win decision and they win, I'm sure the ACC will try to keep it.

I'm really glad Miami did another postseason ban. It sucks the kids don't get to go to the ACC title game and bowl game, but we're doing the right thing. We're changing the image of Miami football and that is important. What we did was wrong, and we deserve to be punished. It'll be interesting to see if the NCAA adds any more years of postseason restrictions. We'll certainly get some scholarships taken away, but hopefully they are content with us losing out on a potential ACC title, and two bowl games.

So what exactly does the Big Ten gain from adding Maryland and Rutgers? Seems entirely about adding the MD to NJ market. If anything adding those two teams makes the football strength of the conference weaker. Guess with only two top-25 teams it can't get much worse.

Has it all been going to Big 10 schools or Georgetown? That DC area is fertile ground. Maryland should always be a great hoops school.

WIlliams was lazy and didn't play the aau games to get guys like Kevin Durant and Ty Lawson, but Turg isn't like that, so we're seeing talet come in where it really wasnt before.

So setting aside what matchup would be the most competitive what possible national championship matchup would draw the most interest? Seems obvious it would be Alabama v. Notre Dame. I'll bet that game would draw huge TV ratings even though Alabama would be about a 13 point favorite according to oddsmakers.

Yeah, they are without question the most popular team in the nation. But they don't stand much of a chance beating Alabama. I'd much rather see an Alabama/Oregon national title game, but I'm not very confident we'll see that.
