I have to admit if I couldn't of got my A21 I would of still got my Dyns and ran them with my Nad 326bee But a new amp would of been on the top of my list that's for sure

It is indeed! I may get lucky with one more upgrade this year, and I have several to choose from, but knowing me it likely won't happen. I have this tendency to take my time with upgrades, plus the price has to be right. Part of it is due to finances, but that will look better next year once my car is paid off.

i know that there 160s right ? i was wondering if you like them enough to replace your rf7s with dyn towers ? just curious to see wich sound you prefer .

Seriously my RF7's would just get moved to another room don't think I could part with them there outstanding for HT and do a fine job with music to . But these Dyns have given me another flavor of sound that I've fell in love with . I'll put it this way since Ive picked up my Halo A21 and my Focus 160's I havent turned my Kuro on but once in 2 weeks just to clear my DVR and I'm a reality show/bluray fanatic lol. I'm enjoying my music more then ever I'm adding new vinyl and CDs and listening to all my old music like it was new .Now to answer your question someday I would love to go full Dynaudio threw out my system .But for now I'm enjoying the heck out of these 160's and feel no need to do so . There everything Ive ever wanted for 2ch and then some . I'm going to concentrate on getting a tube preamp or possibly Parasounds Halo 2 ch preamp mid summer when they come out . That will be my next upgrade and until then I'll just run my Integra 80.3 pre/pro zone 2 that I've also been very happy with . I'm the happiest and most satisfied that Ive ever been and its a great feeling

thanks for the detailed answer, its nice that you actually have the best of both worlds the dyns for music and the rf7s for home theater

I cannot agree more, I bought my C2's the end of January and since then it has been all music. I have only watched one movie since then in my Home Theater. Rock on Factor.

This is a great post and ones I'd love to see more often. I find it refreshing to hear that someone is actually truly happy with their current gear, instead of always looking for the next great big improvement.

It's funny but I just viewed the 3 part video about how Dynaudio makes there speakers and it confirms why I feel the way I do about them . Giving me satisfaction like never before .
