FYI, just spent an hour looking for my last 5 shards, gave up, then unlocked a power that shows you the nearest shard out of the whole map

Game is good, feel like it could have been better. IMO gamespots review is accurate. http://www.gamespot.com/ps3/action/i...tabs%3Breviews

I LOVED the demo. I played and platinumed the first game but I only liked it. My gf was more into it then I was but I am so hyped for the new one. The graphics upgrade is ridiculous and I don't mind the new voice actor. I feel like the characters are more alive in this one. I can't wait to play it!

Just played the demo. He moves to fast, but man, the action was awesome.

As with others, the demo diminished my anticipation a bit.

Visually, it was a huge improvement.
Camera is indeed faster, but adjustable.
Question: Does the difficulty setting in the demo change anything?

I will miss the loss of elevation that was present in the first game. The missions in the demo forced you onto ground level too much where there is limited visibility. It was troublesome to distinguish civilians from enemies at that level. Also, it seems like every group of enemies in the demo has at least two rocket launchers. That's nothing but a nuisance.

The additional powers probably add interest, but I sense it's becoming too complicated, and the pick up and throw ability seemed pretty cumbersome. Something more like Dead Space would have been superior. Among swarms of enemies that I anticipate will be more common in the actual game, I can't see myself using all of the weapons available.

But, hopefully, the game will grow on me. I did not like the inFAMOUS 1 demo very much, but enjoyed the game a lot. I don't find the premise of the continuing story very compelling, though.

I think what I will do is finish up L.A. Noire & trade it in for this game. GameStop has a special running right through the 13th for 50% extra trade-in credit. And if you are a PowerUp member than you get another 10% on top of that. So an additional 60% trade-in credit for L.A. Noire should net approximately $30 or so towards I2. Not a bad deal IMO.

Yeah, it wasn't like that in Infamous. And you can't make him walk slowly too, he's always running as soon as you press forward. It doesn't bother me that much though, makes getting to the destination faster.

I find that R3 helps when you're in a crowded area. Enemies will appear as red.

$30? Unless the trade in value dropped overnight, last I heard on CAG was a base value of $28 which is almost $44 if you are a PUR member.

You shut your mouth!! I said approximately $30, can't you give me a $14 leeway?? If that's true than that's a better deal than I originally thought!

Saw a trailer last night for Infamous 2 and it said Now Available. Is anyone finding this at stores?

Well, at least I identified the language as Chinese. For me Mandarin & Cantonese are difficult to discern from. But that's just because I'm ignorant to the different nuances of the two dialects.

Seems the game was patched last night, when I got on a couple hours ago it had downloaded 1.01, which apparently activated UGC missions. I played a couple, won't spoil it, but...interestingly fun.

Enjoying the game for the most part right now, still sometimes feels awkward with how fast Cole moves. How far does the demo go?

That's what I got today! Plus I have $15 credit there from my PU rewards but can't put it towards a pre-order so I'll have to wait until Tuesday to pay it off. I'm starting to like GS again.

Going to leave this here for those that already got codes to remind them about them to use Tuesday and for those without, it should still work. Keep in mind that it appears that actual PSN redemption of the inFamous 2 codes isn't working yet.

So I was able to download inFamous 1 from the PSN yesterday. And after playing it for the first time in like a year, I replayed the inFamous 2 demo and it has been greatly improved. So much that I decided to pre-order it.

Quick question: I saw the IGN review which talked about how there is going to be User Created Content, ala Little Big Planet where you can create your own missions and whatnot.

I wonder if theoretically someone could create a mission where there's just thousands and thousands of enemies coming at you from all sides, and you see how long you can last?

That'd be awesome.
