Not many people left to interview for 10 to Midnight.
Bronson and most of the creative team are deceased. Lisa Eilbacher has been out of acting and the spotlight for 20 plus years. I doubt they could reach her and she would want to talk about this movie. So that leaves Andrew Stevens and maybe Gene Davis. Or they could interview Paul Talbot, who did the commentary for Death Wish 2. |

Scream´s? Shout Factory will release "Ten to Midnight" ![]() https://www.blu-ray.com/news/?id=23667 I´m not delighted to see another release of that movie. Twilight already released a blu-ray of that film. I would prefer that Shout Factory! would instead release "Love and Bullets" or "Borderline" on blu-ray. If I´m not mistaken Shout Factory released those movies on DVD, so I guess they own the rights to release them on blu-ray. |

Well, we did get the alternate X-rated cut of DEATH WISH II (from Shout!, no less), so you never know. Additionally, the alternate, bloodier cut of THE EVIL THAT MEN DO made it to Blu-Ray last year as well. Weirder stuff has happened.

Yeah, I have that Nameless Mediabook of "The Evil That Men Do". So great to finally have that one. Saw it in the theater in 1984. Always liked it.
I had actually hoped that THAT one would have been one of the Scream/Shout SDCC announcements, so it would have a US release. I have the TT "10 to Midnight", so they'll have to do something special with it to make me want to double dip. I love the film, but I have it. I would double dip if it has stuff like deleted scenes/alternate footage, I'd like an interview with Gene Davis; things like that. And yes it would be nice if Shout upgraded "Borderline" to blu. |

RIDER ON THE RAIN (the English language version), FAREWELL FRIEND (which is available in Japan for $60) and SOMEONE BEHIND THE DOOR are the ones I'm waiting for. A proper BD of VIOLENT CITY would be nice, too.
You guys can have BORDERLINE. Not a fan. |

See? So many things still left to get North American releases yet, and so many labels focusing on double and triple dips of really mainstream stuff (Shout, I'm looking at you).... |

How long do you think we will have to wait before we see a 4K UHD Bronson release? Have there been any mentions of this from any of the studios? I would assume that the big all-star cast movies from the 60s would get the 4K UHD (Magnificent Seven, Great Escape, Dirty Dozen) treatment before the solo Bronson movies of the 70s and 80s would.

Things like The Great Escape and Magnificent Seven won't get UHD releases any time soon because they're MGMs, and MGM have zero interest in 4K at this time. Also, I do believe those titles have already been licensed to boutique labels for pending special edition releases.
If had to put cash money on the first Bronson UHD to be released, it would be Once Upon A Time In The West. It's with Paramount, who've been on a catalogue release binge of late. |
