I had an HD recording that had a 5.1 track on it. Ripped the video and, because there is only 1 HD master, it synced up perfectly.

Based on that it has a 4K transfer now on iTunes Movies I wonder if this is the year we will finally get Newman's Nobody's Fool on Blu-ray and maybe UHD. I surely hope so.

A separate release for Dundee in Los Angeles. I don't think even the first two films were released separately on Blu-ray. I hope they release them separately as well.

If there's a new 4K transfer, that would seem to suggest a Paramount Presents BD.

The only UHDs they seem to do of deep catalog titles are those directly tied into new releases (Coming to America tied into its sequel, that wave of Tom Cruise titles all tied into the abandoned 2020 release date for Top Gun 2)

It certainly meets some of the criteria for a Paramount Presents release. Popular enough movie and never released on Blu-ray before. I do hope they release it on Blu-ray though a UHD version would be a dream. I definitely can see Criterion though doing a BD/UHD if they license it out to them.

I would love to see on Blu-ray or as part of Paramount Presents with new 4K restoration, Sabrina (1995), The First Wives Club (1996), Milk Money (1994) and Dragonslayer (1981).

Nice to see Paramount showing interest in catalog blus again over the last year or two. It'd also be nice if they could re-scan more of them even if they aren't part of the "Paramount Presents" branding. A decent few of them I already have on digital hd and it's tougher to consider an upgrade if they're using masters from decades ago.

I own the Umbrella Entertainment blu ray for The Longest Yard and, for me anyway, the PQ looks pretty good. A solid upgrade from the dvd. FWIW, Dr. Svet was pleased with the PQ when he reviewed the disc. However, if Paramount announced a new 2K or 4K remaster I would gladly throw out the Umbrella BD.
