Yeah my Best Buy is also showing up that it's available in store and available for pick up. But on the actual product screen it says pre-order pick up on release day. Debating on if I want to drive across town to see if I can pick it up.

No. Studios and distributors set release dates for a reason. If a big box store ignores a street date and puts it out for sale before the set date, there can be heavy fines and the possibility to revoke the right to sell anything from the studio. There are so many precautions set in place for big retailers it's insane.

At Target, the registers reject the product when scanned and display when it's available to sell.

I received a shipping notification today. So if this goes anything like Insurgent, I'll get it on Monday a day early but that's probably not going to happen since it's not giving me a *expected arrival date which probably means it hasn't even shipped yet and just the label was created.

Mine said the same thing, that it was ready for pickup, but I went to the store and none were out on the shelves

Mine shipped today with an ETA of Monday.

My Insurgent steel shipped on Tuesday of release week and showed up the next day.

Compact Disc world sold a Denzel Washington movie before the street date. And this was years ago. The cashwrap pushed the sale right through. Any registers could reject a sale if the product is not entered into the system.

BB had whiplash out a day early, but when I went to check out the register blocked the sale. So no, there's no way to get one early.

So i payed in full for mine when ordered with the in store card yet sku on receipt does not match anything when I put it in best buy search wtf it doesnt say steelbook on my receipt either Ps i ordered in store when ad came out weeks ago

Mine's the same way.

I think because it's the card SKU rather than the Blu-Ray SKU.

It makes sense to keep them as separate in the system to manage the pre-orders.

That's my guess anyway.

Mine went from processing to backordered to in progress. I feel like I'm still going to have to go in early Tuesday to pick it up, just to be sure.

Mine still says processing this is the first preorder I've had from Best Buy that didn't ship on the Thursday before release. Unless they overnight this order at this point I won't get it till next Thursday.
