• Smaller buildings like a barn (that is in the building process at first sight, but will be finished when you come back later), villages and even towns will change over time.
  
• If you complete a mission (for example with your gang members), you will see them returning to their daily schedule instead of just disappearing or walking nowhere with no specific destination. Every major character exists in the world, not just in missions. This is inspired by Michaels house and the life of his family, you could see your family in-game, not just in missions. In Red Dead Redemption 2 they are expanding on this idea.
  
• R* doesn’t want to call the world of Red Dead Redemption 2 a sandbox. Because in a sandbox, you can do whatever you want. Sure, R* wants to give you a lot of freedom, in their Open World you can do whatever you want, but only as long as it makes sense for Arthur, his story and the world itself. Nothing should break the immersion.
  
• If you commit a crime and the lawmen have a hunch that you are the offender, they will first talk to you instead of shooting you instantly, and you can talk yourself out of the situation.

That's cool you can talk yourself out of it in RDR2. Too often in GTA games, you accidentally bump your car into another car and the cops start firing at you, no questions asked.

The sandbox thing they're talking about, hopefully you can just walk wherever you want whenever you want and ignore missions after completing the last one.
The worst is when they give you an open world but it's constantly mission after mission with no freedom to explore. If you go too far from the goal, they send you back to it.

Rockstar has never done that in any of their games. They don’t make us do mission after mission we can explore the map if we want.

I'm pre ordering the digital ultimate version and will cancel my physical copy of the same version at Gamestop. Just a better a deal and it's just stupid how the ultimate version (Physical copy) is exclusive to Gamestop here in the US.

If Best Buy had the ultimate edition I would have pre ordered and bought it there since I have still Best Buy Gamers Club Unlocked with 20% discount on new games.

What they showed does look really outstanding. I'll have to watch the video again when I get home. That way I can see it in 4K. My phone just doesn't do it. If it's anything like RD I'll get lost for hours enjoying the scenery while I pick flowers and kill animals.

Revolver has nothing to do with this game and the first one. The only thing they have in common is the name.

Was referring to the overall Rockstar Red Dead franchise, there, but rumor has it that Jack Swift, Shadow Wolf, and Red Harlow from 2004's Red Dead Revolver will all appear and play a role in Red Dead Redemption II's story, bridging the three games together.

We musta watched different trailers.

The 4K trailer while scenery was impressive didn’t highlight any next gen character models when compared to Uncharted, God of War, Horizon etc.
