The only reason I didn't mention this game is because I really don't think that Tennessee has what it takes to beat Alabama this year. They're outclassed in just about every aspect. Maybe next year this game could be more competitive. Still, a rivalry is a rivalry, right?

Yeah, I shouldn't have said the games are boring, just that there is no big matchups of highly ranked teams. We've been spoiled the last couple weeks with huge games but there are still good games. I expect we see some upsets. Hopefully Iowa can keep winning close games, although they need to get off to a better start than they have recently.

Less than an hour to kickoff in the Miami/Clemson game, this is one game that definitely has me concerned. One week after we were given the power to control our own destiny in the coastal division and we play a dangerous Clemson team. I don't like that at all, Clemson is a better team than their 3-3 record. There's a lot of talent on that roster.

Thanks Although we play to the level of our competition. Gives me some hope... We should have beaten TCU, the MD game was a travesty.. I'll accept the Ga Tech loss, only because we fought back.. excited for the matchup against Miami...but very nervous as well... too many freshman in important places

Iowa State beat Nebraska 9-7. Nebraska had 8 turnovers, versus 0 for Iowa State. Most of Nebraska's turnovers were inside the Iowa State 20.

Damn, is Clemson playing forward or backwards? They at 3rd & 45 on their second possession. Jeez. It's been flag city so far.

I tell you nothing is more frustrating than having our defense play lights out and all our offense has to do is score a field goal in the second half. The D even got momentum by blocking a field goal and returning it to Iowa State territory. Then predictable Shawn Watson calls 2 zone reads in a row with a quarterback who is absolutely zero threat to run the ball. 3 and out.

It seems unreal that 2 weeks ago, some were saying Nebraska could win out, now I'm not sure if we'll win the rest of the season. Entirely capable of it, if Watson pulls his head out of you know where and the staff makes the call to bench Zac Lee.

That was a CLOSE game! Cody saved the day with TWO field goal blocks. Never underestimate a good southern rivalry

I eat my words. That was the closest game Alabama played all year long. Plus, they got lucky in the end with that blocked field goal. Good game.

Damn, the Canes were beaten in a tight one. That's sucks. So much for a BCS bowl game.

Tough loss... great to see Clemson finally be on the winning side of a game like this. Too many missed opportunities this season

Brian Kelly can plug any QB into his system and win. Now I just need Texas, USC, and Iowa to lose.

I feel your pain brother. I am disgusted, heartbroken, and pissed off all in one emotion. I really thought this might be the year we make it back to a big bowl game and perhaps take the ACC title.

Iowa played that last drive perfectly. Rather than try and go for the long ball they went with short passes. Their next 2 games should be easier, with Indiana and Northwestern at home before the game at Ohio State.
