Please, could someone explain me what's going on? Is the TVA a multidimensional Police????? So it's not about time travel at all, not the way we think about it.

There seems to be two different kinds of alternate reailites within the MCU. Set alternate realities which have things considerably different, such as totally different versions of Loki for example. This'll be applicable when the next Spider-Man films comes out, with it's alternate Peter Parker's, each played by a different actor.
Then there's the second kind of alternate relaities casued by branching timelines resulting from time travel. This factors into Endgame and Agents of Shield Season 7. Where there are essentially the same people in different circumstances casued by hsitories being changed. The TVA seem to 're-write' some time traveller effects, thereby removing the branching timeline, whch then leaves a stranded 'variant' with no home timeline. The TVA then essentially try to kill off the variant person.

The impression I've built so far is that the 'sacred timeline' is a load of nonsense. Multiverse branching is natural and normal to the MCU, and Sylvie is actually trying to restore things back to normal. Whoever is behind the TVA (probably another version of Loki if it follows formula) is for some reason trying to stop all the alternates and keep the timestream condensed into just one reality artificially by sending TVA agents out to kill off the branches.

Whatever happens, the multiverse is restored at some point soon, as we know from what is coming in the next Dr Strange and Spider-Man films.

Loki is not Asgardian.

What about the conversation between Thor and Loki when he dropped Thor from the Helicarrier? And how worried Thor looked? A drop from that height is worse than a pounding from Hulk? None of it is exactly perfect.

Pretty awesome they brought on Kang, or at least a variant of him. Very eager to see the one that turns out to be the big bad. Unless there's more of them? So many questions.

Got a very Matrix Reloaded vibe with the way they were offered to be the new leaders of the system or if they killed him the universe would descend into chaos. It might seem like the wrong choice now but Kang is the system/person to take down in order to restore free will. Definitely an interesting long-term storyline that's for sure.
