I ordered a replacement from Amazon...and I hope that I receive what you received: CORRECTED DISCS and a BETTER CASE that will protect the discs!

Thankfully... I'm assuming the Amazon copies are correct?

Just got my Anthology set. Looks and sounds great. Think I would have missed that stereo track on road warrior if it wasn’t there on the revised set.

Has the American title card for The Road Warrior always been Mad Max 2? Thought it would have been The Road Warrior in the states.

For as long as it's been on Blu it's been Mad Max 2.

Since this is the Mad Max 2 cut of the film without the trims then it doesn't really make much sense to include The Road Warrior title card.

Under it in white font is 3000089657

In the pic located on here, the 3000089658 differs, what is that difference? I rarely pay much mine to barcodes.

I just sent another email to the WHV email address saying that I want a whole new set, not just Mad Max 2. This is after responding to their initial email asking me to send them my UPC and a copy of my receipt. I did but never heard anything back. Now I guess I get to wait for no response again.

You are in the same boat as many of us: a lot of us contacted Warner Bros.' customer service via email...but nobody responded. I sent pictures of the package, the U.P.C., AND my receipt...BUT NO ONE RESPONDED.

What good is a recall if the company is not going to replace the faulty product?

I got my set in November from what I assume is the initial batch Amazon received, I'd say at this point contacting Amazon would be pointless.

I know it's been discussed already regarding the issues of the Atmos track but I must add, I'm not too much a car nerd but I know enough where the engine sounds are MUCH more accurate in the original mix.

In the Atmos track in the opening alone, Max's engine sounds like it's constantly shifting gears which isn't accurate, at least on an automatic transmission it does it only three times and then the engine sound is constant (in the original mix we only heard post-shifting so as a result the engine sound was constant), but yet in the Atmos track the engine constantly shifts over and over again which isn't right. (and if Max's car is a standard transmission then it'd be even worse because you don't see him once changing the gears)

So not only is the Atmos track poorly mixed, the engine sounds are incorrect with what's going on onscreen, while in the original they are at least more accurate than the Atmos track. As for the type of engine sound that goes with his car, I'm not 100% sure on that

I also hate how the intentionally somewhat cartoony sound effects with the weapon fire is lost in the Atmos track

I have the U.S. Mad Max Anthology Box Set, these are the inner ring disc codes:

The Road Warrior: 7000100043.2

Beyond Thunderdome: 7000100042.2 (verified as the new disc with corrected audio around post 180).

Can anyone verify that The Road Warrior disc code above is also the new disc with corrected audio?

All I know is the .2 on my discs, and yes, it's updated. I watched the first three films with the original mixes, and all were HD.

Mine has the old UPC code on the slipcover, I can still see the last digit ('4'), with a sticker showing the new UPC code over the original UPC code. The sticker is directly on the slipcover, under the cellophane.

I just checked the blu-ray case itself, and it has the correct (new) UPC code on the back.

I have seen photos of updated slipcovers (correct new UPC code printed on the slipcase, no new UPC sticker) on eBay, so apparently they come both ways.

Edit: I found the eBay listing, here is the picture of the slipcover with the updated UPC code:

I finally got a reply from WB and they said that they are sending replacements to me and it should take 4-6 weeks to arrive (I'm in Canada).
