Yep. It say’s “Currently Unavailable” on Amazon.com. Well, at least for international visitors.

However, this happened with the Disney Star Wars steelbooks while they were on pre-order. Amazon will then normally order more. If you keep checking, it will eventually come back up. But Yes, it sucks if you’re ordering from the smaller companies… I find you are pretty much f*cked when they run out of their quota.

Bull Moose has been driving me ****ing crazy lately. Every time I would add this and another steelbook to my cart it would immediately remove them and say it had timed out due to limited availability

Sony's current 4K steelbook line doesn't seem to issue standard versions. Instead they just make more steelbooks when they briefly drift OOP.

Odd. I placed an order from them yesterday for NotLD, another blu-ray that says "Back-order item - We will try to get it for you!" and a book that's "Available to special order" and they didn't charge me anything yet.

The site also states "We do not charge for any out of stock or pre-order item until it is in hand and ready to ship."

So far they’ve only screwed me once with The Departed 4K steelbook. They seem to be more careful now, you already can’t order Night from them, so I’ll stick with them for now at least.

Yup that's what I do with a lot of my releases (Se7en, Tombstone, Master and Commander). I actually have the deluxe packaging for the original DVD on all of these that are amazing. Still, it's a hassle. Would rather just buy the thing and put it with the rest of my 4k collection.

I paid 30 something-i thought that was fair for an unreleased version and the theatrical version plus being a steelbook.but that's me
