So...I ordered a regular edition of this movie at my local Best Buy. When I got there, I noticed that they still had one steelbook edition left. So I bought it as well. Now I need to decide which one I'm keeping and which one I'm returning...or if I'm keeping the regular edition and selling the steelbook.
The one thing that makes me nervous about the steelbook is the stupid decision Paramount made to stack the discs. I have awful luck with those and usually get a scratched disc. (I still don't understand why in the Year of Our Lord 2023 that studios are stacking the 4K disc??!!....the one disc of the two that should never be stacked!!) For those who have the steelbook, did your stacked disc have any scratches? I'm not sure what to do.... |

Ah...I see. That's interesting - I thought Best Buy's prices were the same regardless of which store you went to nationwide.

The movie exists as a tribute to Hammer horror films, right? Help me understand why you argue the film "turns into a 50s period piece".... 1850s? The movie takes place in 1799 if I'm not mistaken. 1950s?! |
