everything else is mint. You can't see that on the front at all. Offering it to anyone here before returning it. I'm thinking $43 shipped. That's the $34 it cost, plus $2 in paypal fees, and at least $5 shipping due to weight and size (it will be wrapped in bubblewrap and in a box). So before anyone calls me a scalper, do the math, I'll make a buck or less on this. Actually I'll lose if you factor in time and gas to get to the P.O., plus the gas to get to the town that had it in stock.

PM me if interested, if not I'll just hope to take it back to the closer BB.
You paid $34 for it? When I got mine at Best Buy, it was only $29.99. Are you adding in taxes?

So...I ordered a regular edition of this movie at my local Best Buy. When I got there, I noticed that they still had one steelbook edition left. So I bought it as well. Now I need to decide which one I'm keeping and which one I'm returning...or if I'm keeping the regular edition and selling the steelbook.

The one thing that makes me nervous about the steelbook is the stupid decision Paramount made to stack the discs. I have awful luck with those and usually get a scratched disc. (I still don't understand why in the Year of Our Lord 2023 that studios are stacking the 4K disc??!!....the one disc of the two that should never be stacked!!)

For those who have the steelbook, did your stacked disc have any scratches? I'm not sure what to do....

So just leave the 4k disc in it and place the blu-ray in a blank case problem solved

My question is if a lot of people have been finding scratched discs right when they open the package.

It was $31.99 to order online for in-store pickup. With 6% sales tax that's 33.91. Seems like a rip, but at least that's the not bent one and the bent will go back. The other was from Wal-Mart delivered for $23.51.

Ah...I see. That's interesting - I thought Best Buy's prices were the same regardless of which store you went to nationwide.

Opps, had the price mixed up and it was $29.99 plus tax.
So I'll ship it for $41 if anyone wants it.

I don't understand why you think that the movie changes halfway through...? What do you mean exactly...? I would argue that the movie begins as a horror film...and remains a horror film until the credits roll. What am I NOT seeing...?

The movie exists as a tribute to Hammer horror films, right? Help me understand why you argue the film "turns into a 50s period piece"....

1850s? The movie takes place in 1799 if I'm not mistaken.

1950s?!

The scene when Ichabod drives around in a Ford Galaxie isn't enough? Like it's a cool scene but it's pretty funny. Ford Galaxies didn't debut until 1959 either so lol

It's still crazy that Ricci got a major studio leading role in 1999. Crazy to think she filmed this a little bit after Buffalo '66.

Or throw it away since the 4K disc is in there.

I feel lucky, I suppose, since every 4K disc I have watched to date has played flawlessly all the way through. I have watched well over 100 4K discs.
