I feel so happy when I read your comments on wifes. My wife is worst then me, you guys think you love TDK, think again I will introduce you to my wife. She is into Marvel & DC and all the anime stuff and scifi. I even have to stop her in buying stuff sometimes and that is scary since I have no control

my wife isn't that bad but she'll sit through some movies i would've never expected her to. she sat through tropic thunder w/me last night but will not watch Lord of the Rings more than 1x each when they are released on blu.

i'm pretty sure i've decided that for the maiden voyage of my HT when it's done is gonna be Lord of the Rings. that just gives an idea of how far away that dream is.

Passive and silent. Sounds like you've found a keeper, Starscream.

Lord of the Rings - The Two Towers is one of the first movies my wife and I saw together in theaters, so they hold a special place in our hearts. I'm sure otherwise she'd probably not care for them.

The fiancee told me the minute I told her about my policy on double dipping.

She said "That policy best not stop Blu Rings from coming into this house."

I love her.

This is also the same girl that looked at my like I was an idiot for suggesting we get Seson 2 of Heroes on DVD instead of Blu.

The first time I asked my fiance out on a date was to see LotR in the theater. She said no.

My wife is great. She always encourages me in my hobbies. When the Matrix first came out on video, I was working at a video store and I got to bring it home for the weekend, we watched it five times that weekend. She couldn't get enough. My wife never watched or was introduced to Sci-Fi/Fantasy movies. Needless to say, I had fun introducing her to Star Wars Original Trilogy Anniversary VHS tapes that I had. It was way cool seeing it thru her eyes for the first time. WHen I took her to see Fellowship...I couldn't find my rings books fast enough, so I bought a new set for her to read. Now She's the one asking if we can watch the extended editions more that twice a year.

Please keep any further comments on this thread related to the release of the LOTR movies in 2009.

Any more off-topic or unnecessary, childish comments will be dealt with harshly.

Thanks Sturgeon for cleaning that up. People need to just talk about LOTR in a mature way.

Fall 2009 is a long time off. They are still announcing titles for May. So don't expect an announcement of a release date for a while
