Long way to go Geoff. However, I do see the similarities with ourselves and the seeming lack of a end plan. Boy are we paying the price for that. The stadium has been toxic since last season.

A new series of The Women's Football Show starts this Sunday night on BBC One at 11.30 pm. It's the new FA WSL season (the autumn season). Arsenal won the spring season.

Match of the Day 2 is on BBC Two this Sunday night at 10.30 pm, instead of being on BBC One.

Ocean, did you post a message in here yesterday asking me a question? I saw it but as I have a eye condition, my eyes were aching and I decided to reply today instead. Or did I imagine it?

I know there's a long way to go, Fat Sam eventually turned them around even though he had three months less time than Hodgson did. But Woy ain't Sam.

Our achilles heel has been our home form, not just this season but from the very first game back in the Prem. What was previously a fortress (we gave teams a two goal headstart for fun in the promotion season) is now a graveyard, and when Selhurst is rocking it's a great atmosphere but it seems to do something to the players, like it's too intense & closed in. We're one of the few teams in EPL history to have amassed more points on the road than at home.

Oh for ****'s sake, just before halftime Palace get stung after hitting the woodwork earlier. Maybe we'll catch a break one of these days, but somehow I don't think we're coming down from behind to win at the Etihad. Balls.

Just before halftime and just after halftime, typical ****ing Palace. Now 2-0 and while we were fairly solid in that first half it's purely damage limitation from here on out. If we escape with a score less than they caned Watford by then I'll take that, but the history makers are continuing their charge into the record books. SIX straight losses.

Congrats to you mate, we need to worry about the league. I can’t afford a trip to Wembley agin anyway.
Hahahaha I literally spat out my tea as I read that. That was hilarious.

Damn Geoff, that was no pretty for your team. It was an utterly dominant performance by City. There is nothing else to say. Sorry mate.

Well we 'only' got beat by five so I'll take that.

Well done today, talk about a super sub!

Another loss for Sunderland though, sorry Steedy. It's my hope that when Palace get relegated we can play you guys again but not if it carries on like this!

Been there, done that. Trust me, I know it's not fun. That 5-0 loss to Chelsea last year still stings.

Stop talking relegation though. It's way too early for that man.

Did you miss the part where Palace are, at this moment, the worst top flight team in all of professional football history? Sam taking over was just a blip in form, we're back to where we should be performance-wise (literally bottom of all 92 League clubs for points-per-game ratios) because they simply are not good enough, both in front of and behind the scenes.

The way that this season's been handled (starting from when Fat Sam left, which I still think was partly due to him not getting the backing in the transfer market going forward) is simply shambolic, I'd say that we were like some tinpot club that's just been promoted which doesn't have a clue how to conduct itself, but then that's an insult to newcomers like 'uddersfield and (gulp) even Brighton who've come up and given a good account of themselves thus far.

It reaches a point when, as Steedy says, it turns irretrievably toxic and this has been brewing at Palace for the best part of two years already. Too many shite players on fat wages doing **** all for the cause. To add injury to insult, Benteke's got knee ligament damage. I dunno what we're gonna do without all his goals. What? Oh

How do you not get bored with that league mate. There is literally no one to beat up there! Even David Moyes could win the league with Celtic.

Bad news with the injury Geoff. Palace started well but you knew what was coming.

As for us, what a horrible atmosphere again. Also no Williams, Mcmanaman or Mcgeady in the starting line up. I feared the worst. So fed up. That yank is slowly destroying my club.

Thanks Steedeel mate sorry Ocean you had good chances late in the first half and West.Brom should have been given a penalty as it was a foul by Mustafi but the ref got the decision right for us with the foul on Ramsey and the penalty decision.
