Actually, here's a larger version... just realized the last one previewed very small.

I think it needs to be darker with more red. The image used is awesome but the tone just doesn't feel Freddy enough for me. IMO of course.

Now if you can just make covers for my other 160 Blu Rays, we'd be all set.

I hope you keep churning them out. Because if you make one and I have it on Blu, I'm using it.

I think it looks very elegant, very professional. (Does it say 4-disc on the front?) Nice to see someone thinking out of the box for this series.

Here's one I made for a German client. (15mm spine)

Uuuhhmmm.... Gradient Maps?

That's five different images of fire, blended, multiplied, warped, copied and finished with handpainted masks. Several layers behind Freddy, several more in front. I did the composite at twice the size of a cover which helps blend everything together when shrunk to half the size.

I was struggling with coming up with an idea for this cover, having just done an Elm Street custom for someone else and not wanting to repeat myself. Then it just popped into my head that fire would be appropriate for the character. (It makes no sense for Freddy to be that dark when he is surrounded by flames, but I like the contrasted silhouette it made. If it looks right... ) Having the photos on the back eaten by the fire was the client's idea. Sometimes the client's input is actually helpful :-)

BTW, congratulations on all the Criterion customs. You are an inspiration.

I'd recommend getting some better quality paper, you can really see some bad print lines on the black ink.

Very nice. The only thing I would have done differently was make the logos a bit larger.

Has anyone created any sort of custom art for the Stanley Kubrick collection? I HATEHATEHATE the actual packaging for the set.

Casetopia.com. 10 cases for $18. The more you buy the cheaper they get.

Holy lord, those looked nice.

Have you made any other custom Criterion-covers? And where do I get those cases? Would love them.

The cover was put together to house the 3-discs - as such its unlikely to be useful to anyone who does not already own both the barebones Blu-ray and the 2-disc special-features-heavy DVD.
