Past couple of weeks haul. It's hard to find Snow White and Fantasia for a decent price nowadays.
I'm still kicking myself for not buying Fantasia a couple years ago when it was still in print and at a decent price....

The movies I've received over the last couple of weeks.. I paid way too much for Drive but I had to see it again - simply amazing! I dunno if it has been mentioned before but this version has 7.1 DTS-HD MA..

Agreed! I'm on the look out for Snow White at a halfway decent price. I wasn't buying blu-rays when that came out (Along with Pinocciho and Sleeping Beauty). I've seen them at my local FYE but at $35 a piece...brand new though. Hopefully I can get enough stuff together to trade in and knock down the price.

Costco is the only place I have ever seen it at this price. I think Costco offers one-day trial passes -- you'd have to call your local warehouse, so as not to wast a trip, to find out.

Average. But the worst part is that they are region B locked ( I have an Oppo 93 multiregion ), with french hard coded subs and 1.0 LPCM audio !

Best part ? I've got them for $25 each at eBay and the steels kick ass !

I'd wait on Sleeping Beauty and Pinocciho. They're going to get rereleased as part of the Diamond Collection. I about paid an arm and a leg for them, but I found this press release.
http://www.dvdizzy.com/diamondcollec...ease-0910.html
Now, as to what difference there will be between the Platinum and Diamond editions of SB and Pinoc, I don't know. But I can wait for the price to come down.
