That's also what I'm going for. And Maleficent. If the prices on eBay come down on a few Dark Knight trilogy figures, I'll slowly accumulate those, too. It's not looking likely, though.

Not the best pics, I haven't gotten my DSLR yet. But here's some changes I made to the displays last night, with the addition of Groot and Rocket, and a few others. Plus some custom stands/decals I had made.

Ready for Drax to come out to complete the Guardians. Taking ages! And Hawkeye to complete the original 6 Avengers lineup. Wanting to do a Shield shelf when Maria Hill and Nick Fury come out, and will probably have to find a Phil Coulson too.

Aww. You should put Star Lord in cuffs back with the Stormtroopers.

And have your collection strike some poses! Why are they just standing there? Awesome gallery, though.

Thanks. I'm a fan of museum poses, and as the collection grows it's about all I can do until I get more cases down the line when more space opens up for me. Plus I think museum poses work well, no worry of things damaging over time from certain extreme poses. Like the figures with rubber arms and stuff.

Haha I want Chewie in the handcuffs with them!

P.S. I'm still jealous of your Batman, Joker, and Bane.

It is a beautiful, museum quality gallery, indeed.

Crazy how real she looks. Star Ace is Hot Toys' biggest competition if you ask me. This sculpt here is like them sending a message. And also saying "We have K.A. Kim!" Lol

Hermione looks great, sure, but all the Harry's and Ron's are horrible so far.

I wouldn't say they're horrible, just the company learning as they go. They're still the best representations on the market for having sorcerers stone figures of the two. Everyone that has gotten them loves them.

Hermione looks to be a turning point for them, finally capturing the realism in the sculpts. Having Kim on board certainly helps! She might be why they finally changed the eyes to look similar to hot toys.

Let's not forget it took Hot Toys a while to figure it out too. Take a look at their first few years of releases.

Quite possibly the barest bone release ever.

But it looks like a great head sculpt. Just don't know if I'm going to wait for the second release of this character.

Not sure if I want to say. I'd like to maintain some anonymity on the internet. If I expose which I won then it would link me to potentially having my name revealed.

P.S. I should also mention that it wasn't necessarily a recent contest.

If they wanted to make the QS figure special, they should have a release with his unseen Avengers outfit from the alternate ending of Ultron.

No. The Joker Mime figure has only seven accessories: five extra hands and quills, I don't count the stand and the hat is part of the costume. Quicksilver has eight hands.

He didn't say it was, he just said it was "quite possibly"......either way, they both suck in the accessories department, that's for sure.

Plus it doesn't help that QS was super boring, personality-wise, and his costume as well. Like I said, he looks like a personal trainer.

That last part is true. I mean, Scarlet Witch had the awesomeness of "fireworks" accessories for her hands. You'd think Hot Toys would have found a way to simulate QS' motion blur with add on accessories to his tennies.

The Joker Mime is a display piece of art... this. This. This. This looks like a weirdly cheap $10 Barbie doll. You know the kind Mattel makes just for department store checklanes and super discount stores.

I agree 100% with all of that and feel bad for anyone that is an "Avengers Completeist" and feels they'll have to buy this or not have the complete lineup.
