so heather cox just said that the GT head coach (Paul Johnson?) said that they were doing really good against FSU in holding them to just 5 possessions.

but since they scored on 3 of those 5 then they aren't really doing a whole lot of good. especially when they've only got 6 points to show for it.

i can understand trying to see the good in something, but i don't think i'd ever tell that to anyone if my team was trailing by 3 scores.

granted i didn't watch the first half so i may be missing something.

Wisconsin is demolishing Nebraska. It's 42-10 at halftime. An 8-5 team is actually going to win the Big-Ten title.

Good thing for Mack Brown he's got a national championship in the bank. If Texas loses today it'll be 16 losses in 3 seasons.

Imagine if he wins though. Would that be the biggest collapse for a school ever in KState? From BCS Championship bound to not even making a BCS game in 2 weeks.

People were worried about ACC having the sad conference champion, but it looks like that honor will go to the Big 10/14 (though GT is still in this game).

I know it sounds funny, but GT's gameplan is to limit the other teams possessions. If we hadn't held them to 5 possessions in the first half, then our halftime adjustments wouldn't have mattered because we'd be completely out of it right now.
