Hi , shot this video last evening with my new Cannon G12 and when i bass comes in at the beginning i think i over saturated the mic .

Im not up to Chris's standards yet .

Very nice, but you are right that this does nothing for the 5.1 presentation compared to when you hear it in person.

DAMN!!! I did not realize that we are up to 65 already. I wish I had a better camera. Mine really sucks since I can't get the lighting bright enough for a non-grainy video.

I was thinking of doing a couple music only ones with song clips of the same genre, then a video one with a few "reference" movie clips. It's a snap to put together a nice looking video with the iMovie software on a Mac.

Maybe once I get my last XPA-1 and XPA-2 I'll revisit the video making.

Yeah, still waiting patiently for yours Lou , your room seems pretty bright, don't you have halogens in that rooms?

nope. Just a single 60w bulb on a dimmer.

All my pictures are like 8 second long exposure shots on a tripod. That is why the room looks brighter than it is. I should take a "normal" exposure shot and post it. Room is probably about as bright as a 5-5:30pm sky in the winter...

I may rob a bunch of lamps (which everyone will need to ignore if they are visible in the video. ) so I can get the room MUCH brighter. I'll have to think about it. Maybe I should start a song request thread to get some member feedback on song choices they would like to "hear" through my setup.

i know its not really 600hz i just want to see the motion blur to see the big difference than my 60hz any one got a video of a Panasonic demo?

What do you plan to see this demo on? You do know that kind of a demo is only as good as the device you are using. So, if you see it now, your still going to see it. There is nothing like the real thing.
