Keep watching this link. It gets put up for a short time, then taken down because of high traffic.

From Diabolik DVD's FB:

WE WILL HAVE THE LIMITED EDITION NIGHTBREED BACK UP FOR SALE ONCE WE HAVE OUR SITE ISSUES RESOLVED. SINCE IT IS A HOLIDAY WEEKEND I DON'T EXPECT THAT IT WILL BE UNTIL NEXT WEEK
My condolences to those who want to order from them. They'll have them, but I know you're anxious. I know I would be if I hadn't gotten an order through yesterday morning.

The link I posted is for the 3 disc limited edition, and that's $66.99 there.

I would hope for a 20 to 30% off retail... however I wish it would just get listed. I am sure SHOUT is taking their time before they decide how many copies go thru amazon. I am sick of searching for it on amazon and seeing that puke filled cover art of Near Dark... I swear I thought it was Twilight and it made me sick lol

My guess is $68, roughly 15% off. Amazon doesn't seem to drop prices on SF products all that low. Sleepaway Camp only just dropped 25% and it's been out over a month. This set will be sold out before then.

Agreed. I'm expecting $65 at the cheapest.

Does anyone know if shout have any type of obligation to supply Amazon wth LE copies. Would it harm any kind of relationship if shout sold them all themselves and did not give any of its biggest seller to amazon. Would it even register with amazon. If i was selling product for a company and they held back product that was selling strongly while supplying others that do not sell so well i would be miffed, but i have no clue if this is how companies feel. In essence, i'm flapping that i might not get a copy

In this case, the way it's looking is that since Shout did all the leg work in putting this thing together... they're gonna reap the benefits first. They've already guaranteed themselves the first 2,500 copies and at least half of that have been sold in just a couple of days. I don't know how many copies a place like Diabolik receives, but surely it's at least quite a few if it crashed the site. My guess would be that they DO have some sort of obligation to Amazon, but they get first dibs because it's their title.

Cliff MacMillan was a guest on cliverbarkercast.com podcast and he shed some light on the upcoming Nightbreed release. He stated that discovered lost footage is in great shape, and it looks like it was filmed yesterday.

That's great but were all the special/visual effects completed before Clive was forced to alter the original film or will some things still not be completely finished?

Listening now - they just mentioned it may be a few weeks before Amazon can put it up for pre-orders.

Yeah seems like Shout Factory underestimated the demand if they are selling off half of the copies themselves. If it even makes it to Amazon seems like it will go fast there.

There's a very good chance that Shout's (so far) allotted 2,500 copies will sell out on their site over this long holiday weekend. I think when they come back on Monday, they will secure more to sell themselves, or maybe they already did. But I can see panic if Shout's site indicates "Sold Out" sometime during the weekend.

They started off the sale saying the first 1,000 copies sold would get those perks and those sold out overnight and they are now selling the first 2,500 on their site. That is an underestimation especially considering the price tag. If they had priced this limited edition at $40 it would be gone already.
