The art looks final with a sticker too.

The sad part is, there is no $5 pre-order gift card for the exclusive 3D version unlike the regular 3D version.
That's the Target exclusive bonus content I've come to know -- and sometimes loathe -- when it comes to major releases!

Screw that damn tin...

I think the extras will be on a disc, because Fifty Shades of Grey, which was also released by Universal, had a Target-exclusive bonus disc.

So glad Target is not only doing the exclusive (apparently), but it's also 3D. Now I just hope the exclusive is on-disc.

2D with exclusive bonus seems to be replaced with tin box already. so maybe there isn't a 2D with exclusive bonus anymore.

That sucks if so. I don't have any need for a 3D release so I guess I'll just pick up a regular BD release.

But the tin box is t exclusive, it's available everywhere. There's probably gonna also be a 2D exclusive with bonus content. I'd be surprised if the exclusive was 3D-only.

What you said is true, but what Target is doing with their pre-orders of the 2D exclusive and what's available when you do a search of "Jurassic World" shows something else. Hopefully things will change again. Let's wait and see.

Am I the only one really excited for this release? I'm literally counting down the days, I mean I saw JW three times in the theater but I'm so looking forward to seeing it again

If they put it back in theatres right now I'd go twice.

They need to add it to their $5 GC pre-order section. I'm cheap

Fun movie.

Mister Pratt is proving himself to be quite the movie star, came along way from the funny chubby guy from Parks and Recs. .

To use a line from the movie
[Show spoiler]"Your boyfriend's a badass".

I could've done without the good moral domesticated dinosaurs vs bad dinosaur though. That's where the film kind of lost me. Had fun with it otherwise.

I'm in the minority of not liking the first Jurassic Park all that much. Thought it was average at most, i liked this one more.

I'd like to go with the 3D round tin cuz i hate the regular cover but it seems like it would be a pain in the ass to keep upright or put in with regular blu's.

I feel the same way. It's a good movie, great even, but it's a bit overrated. Some may call me crazy, but there are several effects shots in the first film that haven't held up well AT ALL.. Besides that, I've always thought the original isn't as amazing as everyone says, I liked TLW THAT MUCH better

I think because it's Spielberg it gets more love than it would if it was a random person. If Spielberg ghost directed that and people thought it was some random director would it have been as big? I don't know.

Colin was barely known by anyone and now he has the third biggest movie in the world making more than Avengers. People like Dinosaurs. And people like the idea of dinosaurs in a park getting out.

That was sort of what i was trying to say, that i feel this movie stands more on the quality of the movie itself. Mister Colin might not be known but he delivered a good, fun adventure film.

The dinosaurs aka the movie should be the star imo.

[I don't think the original delivered on that, Jurassic World is more what i'd imagine the original vision to be]

When the film came back in limited IMAX-3D release last month, I went with my dad and brother-in-law to see it again. My dad and I had seen the movie opening weekend, but my brother-in-law (and a new dad, to boot) hadn't seen a movie in forever, so we coerced my sister into letting him go with us.

It was the first time I'd been to an IMAX-3D film in ten years, and it was my dad's first IMAX-3D experience ever. Personally, I can wait another ten years. 3D anything still doesn't do it for me. But it was fun to have an all-guys night for once.

I went to FYE and they had a new sign that said if you pre-pay for Jurassic World you get a free tote bag.
I'm personally not interested, but for those of you who like tote bags...

Then perhaps do what I'm doing, and get the HMV exclusive 3D steelbook from the UK? Everyone I've asked on here has said Universal releases are normally region-free, so it shouldn't be an issue. I have a friend in the UK who's already pre-ordered it and will ship it to me once she gets it.
