I want to get a new patio umbrella and a cover for my grill. My grill cover is two years old (Char-broil) and has turned grey on the front. I paid a little under $200 for it...kinda annoyed it's already turned. I am looking at reviews for some other brands and types. Any suggestions are welcome.

I'd just buy the cheap ones and replace them every 2nd year. The ones here are $80, so maybe $50 for you guys down there?
Char-broil make great bbq's. Weird that their covers would suck.

I was pretty disappointed in it. It was black, the front that's exposed to direct sunlight is dirty grey now. I figured I may just buy a cheap $50-60 themed one and toss it if I can't find something that's more consistent than what I paid for this one. My umbrella is sun-bleached too. I am going to bed, bath and beyond to get a new one tomorrow or Friday.

Does Amazon want us to give crappy reviews?

I submitted a detailed list of reasons why I was disappointed with a certain product, and gave it three stars. The review was "unapproved" so I submitted it again, same thing. Then I just wrote "It's ok, but it could have been better." and Amazon approved that.

Did I go back to binge drinking? I must have, since I don't remember ordering Amazon Prime. And yet there it is, a $99 charge for it on my bank statement. I looked at my past orders to see when and how I may have possibly ordered Prime accidentally, and came up with nothing. I also looked for an e-mail thanking me for my Prime order, but that's also missing.

I've put up with getting bootlegs from Marketplace sellers, DVDs and Blu-rays sold by Amazon themselves that arrived poorly repackaged and with shredded artwork and fingerprints all over the discs, and being denied the opportunity to purchase items that were only available to Prime members. I must have threatened to close my account a dozen times because of this shit. Tonight I make good on it.

P. S. Thanks for refunding the money, Amazon. I'm tempted to make one last order with it, $99 worth of horse manure that I can mail to your home office. Can I get free shipping on that without Prime?

Maybe not the right thread, but does anyone know if the member GoldRanger is ok? He used to post here all the time, and stopped abruptly last Christmas- I'm worried something bad happened to him. He was having a REALLY hard time and was on here 24/7 so I just hoped he was ok. Absolutely not kidding, if anybody knows anything (or he sees this) please update us.

Doesn't help the coyotes are even louder this evening than usual, and their noise makes all the neighborhood dogs start howling like wild beasts too. The story is about how depending on who's in charge during a shift, sometimes Facebook's trending news links deliberately leave out some conservative political stories. But the point is that post is saying "I'm against censorship unless it's of an opposing view."

But it's looking more and more like it was a joke account.
