So I have two openings for 9:00 cst.

It's a bunch of crap that they raised the difficulty of the events, but didn't bother to raise the rewards. Those at levels 27 and 28 REALLY got screwed.

If nobody else wants the spot, we can give it a few minutes to try. 30 minutes buys us about 5-6 tries at least. No biggie if it doesn't work out.

This is the crap I don't understand. Why would I want to do a level 30 mission when I am going to get level 16 gear? The reward isn't worth the effort.

Besides only getting level 16 gear, we don't get any more ascendant materials, experience, or anything compared to level 28. I mean, I know we'll all have the ability to get to level 31 or 32 with the new DLC, but that doesn't start for another 8 hours.

I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the groups haha. We still have a group of 3 going for normal raid if anyone wants to join or needs 3 more players. One of us is playing vog for the first time. Planning on starting at around 830MST (90 minutes from now)

Since I'm a new player level 8 so far. Should I worry about getting the new DLC, or should I wait until I get closer to the mid 20 level range?

I'd wait since everything in the new DLC is higher level stuff. At least until you get to level 20. Then you can buy the new legednary gear.


In other news. I got my DLC code ready from Gamestop Now the wait till midnight!

You won't be able to fully take advantage of the DLC until you're a higher level (high 20's), but I'd say pick it up whenever you can.
