Amazon.ca Blu-ray Deals!

Thanks Zeze. I ordered the Sherlock collection, Sherlock - The Abominable Bride, and five seasons of Ripper Street. Now the waiting game to see if any come back in stock and if the price glitch will be honoured. Haven't seen any of these yet. If it pans out, great. If not, no biggie. According to my initial email order confirmation, all are supposed to ship by March 9th, but we'll see if that actually occurs.

Amazon has the pre orders up for the Jurassic Park 25th Anniversary 4K collection. Contains all the films including Jurassic World. It's $67.49 but for some reason they have two listings.

I don’t think so. I ordered 5 season of ripper street, miss maple 3 seasons and musketeers. and most have been shipped already. Great deal!

Doctor Who wasn't part of it. The blu-ray stuff that was included was Sherlock, 5 seasons of Ripper Street, 2 seasons of Peaky Blinders, 2 seasons of The Musketeers, 3 seasons of Miss Marple, and a random Sharpe's movie. There was a lot more DVD stuff though.

Edit: Forgot to say that Dirk Gently's S1 was also part of it and that is the one I'm most looking forward to watching lol

yes i do have prime. I ordered them just a little bit before 8AM, and it changed to shipped status for most of the items around 11:38 AM. hopefully i can get them tomorrow.
musketeers s2 and 2 seasons of Ripper street and s3 of miss marple is not shipped, and scheduled to arrive around March 19 - March 29.

I assume this is coming out in time for the new release of Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom. I own the Blu-Ray Collection, but this doesn't seem like a bad bundle price "IF" the discs get the Audio upgrades include. Seen reports that they will have DTS:X.

Before I place a pre-order and sell my Blu-Ray collection, can anyone confirm which link to pre-order? there are two listings which one are we to select....I have a feeling that they may have screwed up the price for the 4K, since it seems that it is more in the US,

I just ordered one of them, but no harm in ordering both of them? Either together or separately, they qualify for free shipping, and can always cancel one before release.

It's an 8-disc set as well... and if it comes with movie money for the new one, then that'd be even sweeter! lol

Blade Runner 2049 3D is down to about $20. Pretty great price for an (imo) great movie.

Sticking with just the 4K release for this one. While that $20 price for 3D is tempting, I read that even the director favours the 4K over the 3D, says it was only done in 3D for the extra pocket change it would bring in, and doesn't add anything to it.

So what the director wants is good enough for me lol

I don't have prime, so I always have to wait a week or 2 for my orders to ship. Once they ship though, they only take a day or two to arrive. When I make a large order though ($150 around), they ship my order right away. I guess they don't want to risk me cancelling it.

I’m in the same boat as you. Seems that lately they’ve been taking much longer in the “preparing to ship” phase. Not going to complain too much when I’m getting a deal like this though.

Having seen Blade Runner 2049 in 3D, I fully agree with the director and cinematographer that the 3D added little to nothing. A film this beautiful deserves to be watched in 4K.
