My game loaded up with all the new content already there. I think that it all downloaded when I first stuck my disc in my PS4 day 1. So the data on the disc had the DLC prebuilt in to it, and then Bungie opened it up for us right now.

If you have DLC, this week's Weekly and Nightfall is DLC based. It's not the normal rotation stuff that you'd expect.

That's alright then. Was hoping there wouldn't be a massive download to get when I get in later.

Shame there's not a choice between regular and dlc nightfall. I wanted to play the new stuff in context looks like that won't happen.

Yeah even though we kind of knew before hand that the DLC was on the disc, it's fact now after the download for the Season Pass was only 100 KB for me

So it looks like you can buy some armor without commendations right now. For my Warlock I can buy Gauntlets, Boots and Bonds. Helmets and Chest pieces I need the commendation. That's not as bad as I thought it was going to be.

Weapons though all need commendations.

Just played the first 3 DLC quest missions from Eris Morn with Harlock. They were fun. Interesting new set design, new sounds, and music. Good stuff. And just got a new

That's it for tonight though. Time for bed. Will pick up tomorrow around 7pm Pacific.

I'm quite pleased. You don't need commendations for arms or legs Vanguard armor and the light goes up to 33 on them. You do need them for the chest and possibly the helmet, I forgot. Did the first Eris mission and that's it so far. Can't wait for tonight to dive in some more!

Edit: I agree, Dodger, the sounds during the missions are quite cool, kinda eerie!

My first Legendary Engram that I had saved turned into the AR "Up for Anything". I love AR, but the impact stat isn't great.

I finally got the mythoclast too!!! One of my biggest goals so I'm super psyched!

Up at 4 am. Did not mean to play, just to make sure there was nothing new to download, and to make sure it was on a connection fast enough to download it, then go back to bed. Nothing to download, so I go to the tower and look around and a guy jumps on my fireteam, invites another, so here we go... I'm playing without sound, because it's really early, wife is asleep, birds are asleep. Cash in some bounties, get a commendation package with a chestpiece. Buy a helmet and boots. Will buy gauntlets later with other warlock. Finish three story missions, I think, I lost count, with fireteam of three, playing at level 29 on heroic. Find a few dead ghosts. Then start the new raid with some other guys obviously in UK who are up at normal hours of the day. Got the first checkpoint and Dejavu all over again. Guys get gauntlets and I get some ascendant material crap.

Now I have to get ready to go to work.

Kinda know what to do to get to first checkpoint of raid, but don't really know the exact directions. Second part was not around long enough to know how to advance. Those looking for mobs will be pleased. And they were saying shotguns work well, Mike.

Looking to do stories and some other stuff again after work before we try the raid for a while. Hope you guys are not all done with stuff. At least with a few hours for others to figure stuff out, there might be a clear path for raid.

Lol, I got on this morning to see if anything needed downloaded.......next thing I know I am logging in to each character and cashing in the things I had saved and played the first mission.

I NEVER play in the morning, but I couldn't resist, lol. I had enough stuff saved to get 2 pieces of the new armor for each guy right off the bat so that's nice, I don't see any reason I will not be at 31+ on all three by weeks end.....3 X raid runs!

Hit me up tonight, I will be on from about 5:30 central to whenever.

So hopped on real quick with my warlock and ran the first quest. Not sure gimping an existing ability (double jump) for the key fight is a particularly good mechanic or a good sign for the rest of the expansion, but could have been worse.

Tipped over the craptarch and got legendary boots that make my iron banner boots useless (once leveled some) - so that just made my entire last iron banner experience feel pretty useless.

Also had enough to buy the Vanguard gloves and since my existing non-raid ones were maxed xp, but no shard dots paid, I was able to swap them instantly and drop only a single point of light.

I still have never played the raid and I'm already feeling tired of the game

This whole Iron Banner resetting is killing me as I don't have enough time to play a ton to level my rep like that in one week. I bought the Limited Edition so I'll continue playing but I don't always have time to play 4 hours at a time and when I do its spur of the moment so I can't organize a raid, I wish PvP could get you more.

The armor you can buy now is better than the IB stuff anyway, you can level up pretty quick now.
