I almost don't want ICED to get released. The last thing these threads need is another shill/braggart. I got enough of Joel Goodsen's boasts of manhood from the Code Red thread. Having said that, I now think ICED is the "shot or edited on tape" film VS says they have. There's no deader giveaway than a flustered insider/owner's sort-of angry denials

"Top position" every night, most posts in this subforum, etc... its mutually beneficial

1 - Blu-ray.com benefits from higher user engagement (more posts, more time spent on site = more $ for Blu-ray.com)

2 - Dark Force benefits because every one of those posts putting it in top position on the "main" NA movie forum may draw in unsuspecting visitors who don't view this subforum or want to see what the commotion is about... and might buy a blu while they are at it = more $ for Dark Force

Here's the thing on ICED. Bill already said it's got troublesome elements.

The problem is people flip out if a release isn't perfect. For instance, Foes Blu ray some are avoiding because it's bd25 and high compression ratio. Psycho from Texas people complain even though the color is amazing compared to any past release. Both of these releases demolish any past version yet ppl still unhappy because they are not absolutely perfect.

If a label knows they are gonna be in for a rough time with the elements available why take the risk when it won't sell if not perfect? At some point people have to come to grips that some stuff might not come out at all if all they will accept is perfection. Or might have to wait over a decade for something as occured with the blu upgrade of doom asylum.

Since it was edited on video I'd be perfectly happy with an upscaled, color corrected release of ICED on Blu.

Again dave is the ring leader so you'd have to close it. You're talking about a label who said losers buy blurays, and tells you to post topless pics and get in a ring and fight if you say anything negative about his product.

To get a glimpse, one just has to look at how Dave talks to those on his FB page.

I've been thinking that Bill and Dave should do a limited edition for The Farmer consisting of a single copy and put it up for auction like what Wu-Tang Clan did with their Once Upon a Time in Shaolin album. Wu-Tang Clan got $2 million for that single copy of their album...surely a blu-ray of The Farmer would get at least that.

Just because Bill can’t physically do anything to hurt someone, doesn’t make the threats to kill an infant any less horrible. Especially when he is literally screaming about it for 5 minutes, saying “I know where you live” over and over again and describing in detail how he’s going to kill the kid. But yes, the people here are just manufacturing outrage.
