Finally went and saw this today. Quite easily the best in the series.

Saw this on sunday..thought it was ok (full disclosure..wasnt a fan of the other BB movies)..dont get why this was such a big hit

I saw it last week & enjoyed it, but I don't know why it was such a bit hit. I was very impressed with the Mexico crumbling abandoned hotel set where the final shoot-out takes place. The order I'd rank them is, BB2 BB3 BB1. I will be buying the Blu-ray.

It's released in Italy today and it might do 4-5 million in total there.

Because it's a hugely popular franchise, and they simply don't make many movies like this anymore. This checks all the boxes for a great buddy cop film with solid action, and comedy.

It wont do 450, but these current numbers are excellent for a 25 year old R rated franchise starring the same characters

This movie was a LOT better than I thought it would be, despite missing some of the Michael Bay-isms. So if you are a fan of the first two, give this a shot (no pun intended).

HOWEVER, I do have one problem. They pulled a Fast & Furious Han in this shit. Not going to spoil it, but wow! F*** that character then? Okay.

That's probably the single biggest sin this movie pulled and i can't forgive them for it tbh. I know why they wanted such a scene but like what happened with Mike, they should have kept him. My only guess is the actor wanted out and to pull a "Han Solo" in Force Awakens to not have to come back.

I enjoyed it but the villain twist was so damn predictable. And the film's colouring was lackluster and the action scenes seemed too close up with many quick cuts. Not Catwoman/Resident Evil: Final Chapter/Taken 3 level of quick cuts, but close.

Resident Evil: the Final Chapter was a nauseating, incoherent shaky-cammed mess of a movie. This movie does no such thing, how can you even compare the two? No Michael Bay certainly helps in that regard.

The action and lack of MB in that regard is where I felt this film fell short. Better than part 2 though with a better story and characterization.

I haven't seen Bad Boys 2 or Bad Boys For Life but I have seen clips from both sequels and not only is Martin Lawrence a lot heavier and aged in both movies but his character seems very different to what Marcus was in the first. Mike by comparsen still seems to share many of the same characteristics in the latest entry to what he did in the orignal.

Would this be a fair observation?
