Back to normal on Saturday! :

Oh wait. We are playing Arsenal! Penton and Tob take it easy on me if you guys win. I am delicate after a defeat.

I'm going down to a bar in Ibiza to watch the champions tomorrow, even with our uneasy start to the season and our fiasco in the transfer market it should be a straight forward result.....just another excuse for a beer...like I need one.

United were poor against Liverpool but Fellaini will make a difference to your midfield but its still not the creative player that united need.

We were indeed tob although we generally have never been that quick outta the blocks in regards to a good start, time will tell but I agree, although Fellani will be an addition he is not exactly what we needed.....desperation.....better than nothing I think ....

Congratulations Penton Man and Tob. Very good goals. Have to say ref got it very wrong with Jozy Altidore though. Goal should have stood IMO. Game changing moment. We were extremely poor first half, Arsenal ran show. Much better second half showing.

Very impressed with Wilshire.

I'm off to drown my sorrows

Correction: I meant to say Ramsey.

Nice come from behind victory for Everton today. Coupled with last week's great victory over Chelsea, we're on a nice little roll. And the only undefeated team left in the EPL. Not too shabby.

Indeed bud. Thanks. And to think there was talk of sending Baines to another team before the season began. I'm glad that didn't happen. He's an important part of the team.

I don't think anyone was surprised to see di canio get the sack.

Five games into the season? 14 new players brought in, new back room staff and Italian director of footballs, scouts. I am surprised. We are a mess of a club at the moment. Players have to take a lot of responsibility in my opinion.

Steedeel it was a stupid decision by the club in the first place to appoint di canio they knew what they would get from him.
I agree your club is in a mess now but why did the Sunderland board not question that he brought in 14 players and sell your star player sessegnon to west brom.

He didn't, de fanti brought in those players as far as I am aware. The simple fact is, nobody knew what he would do points wise. Yes, we knew he would bring a lot of baggage. We also knew there would be controversial moments and fall outs. So, the gamble has failed as you rightly suggest.
What is a surprise, is after signing 14 players, the club has sacked the manager after five games and we are now stuck with those players. A lot of them, in my opinion, are squad fillers, with little true ability. We are doomed, regardless of who comes in. The fixtures will see to that. Liverpool, Man united, Newcastle and Chelsea are our next home games. I believe, after twenty games it is essential to have around 17-20 points. That leaves 18 games to get 40 points in total. I have been here before and I know where this is leading.
