So I read after Rom boss you can use an item to get to..

Ah hell this game is a freaking nightmare to get around. Seriously, you should not be able to kill enemies that progress the game forward. That makes no f'n sense what so ever. Only Bosses should not be able to respawn.

Talk about a cake walk. I bet I could skip most of the bosses in this game & finish it from beginning to end in 15 minutes.

[Show spoiler]Where you beat the Nightmare boss there is an iron gate key lying around the area. You will then need to jump through a window from a lift and try not to die for a bit. You need a video, or you will not find it. Otherwise they are in the chalice dungeons.

You do not need the key for the stone though. Only for the other thing.

Welcome to souls games. In earlier games, if you kill her you can not level up.

Martyr Logarius was a fun challenge for me last night. He had such a perfect balance of ranged and melee attacks, I had to run back a few times to master his timing

Yes, but each stat has a soft and hard cap. So for instance, vitality, has diminishing returns after level 40, It hink I read

The one thing about this game that struck my eye is the level of absolute snobbery in the forums. I was checking trophy guides and such, people that have played Souls games before (as have I).

They really think their s$%$ doesn't stink. Makes me laugh Mostly around the PvP. There really isn't much to PvP, it's just a duel of sorts. Maybe you can gank a few people, but it's not like we are playing anything in depth.

I've been invaded a couple times so far. Anyone play the PvP a lot?

The load times are only an issue early in the game when you die a lot. I honestly don't want them to fix the loading. As it is now, I can load my game and potentially play for hours without seeing another load screen. I don't want them to mess with that. It becomes less of an issue later in the game when deaths are less frequent.

Yeah I dunno. I looked at the stats every time I leveled up & did not notice this at all. What I did notice is sometimes you'd need 2 or 3 levels up on the same stat before it would increase.

thats part of the " diminishing returns" they speak of .. all souls games did that

I noticed right away with 1.02 the loading is a bit faster. Around a second or two.
