I finally got a preorder at Best Buy to go through. The employee said the $19.99 was the full price for the 3D, so with my RZ certificate it'll have cost me $15. Plus I should be getting a shirt. Also, I'm supposedly getting a Cinemanow code emailed on October 1.

All of these things are being taken with a grain of salt, but I go there all the time and know the guy pretty well, and I have every intention of holding him to that price thing.

I'll probably also pick up the Target exclusive version if the extra extras seem worthwhile.

This still isn't going to convince me to spend more than retail at my local Barnes and Noble to buy from them unfortunately...

My only complaint is the black eyes.

Other than that, they look pretty accurate to what they show online.

I tried to order the 4 Tins from Best Buy.
In-Store Customer Service couldn't find them on the website.
Went back after I got my phone and gave them the SKU. She found them and said that they couldn't be ordered.

Went online and tried it myself.
1 and 2 ordered...
3 was Store Pick-Up only. It asked for which store and when I put in my ZipCode, nothing came up.
With 4: It showed the Tin on the front page and in the cart, but when the order placed, a different cover now shows up...

No idea what to do...
Does the Target Exclusive come with the Tin as well?
If do, I'll cancel the Best Buy 4th movie.

For the price tag they are asking that is crazy overpriced for those Toys R Us action figures.

Makes my Master bust from The Strain at $22 look like a steal (which it was!)

After seeing the final picture product for the Limited Edition gift set I went ahead and cancelled it. It looks rather cheap.

Same here, that's why I generally avoid any 'statue' versions like the plague, they just never look at good as they do in the promo pics (so when something looks as naff as the Hobbit ones do in the photos I dread to think how bad they'll be in real life!!). Good to sell on for a few quid later on down the road, mind...

Why? For plastic or pvc, that is about the going price!
If these were resin/polystone or any other similar material the cost would, at least, double.

I got that one for $30 and the quality is great and identical to the pics:

Maybe I should cancel my pre-order although it is currently $77 for me including shipping and custom fees (due to a promo and price adjustment for my account) I think for that quality, it isn't worth it.
