As a tease for what's to come, it was fantastic.
As an ending to a first season, it wasn't "final" enough for me, just cliffhangeriffic.

To each their own but for me, the best season finales are always the ones that leave you dying to know what happens next!

Actually, I would argue that Loki has plenty in line with the DC films you are talking about.

I liked the show, but I think one could argue that it amounted to one big trailer for events yet to come. And that was something leveled at elements of Snyder's DC work.

I enjoyed the finale, but I think it nailed exactly one of my problems with the show in general.

I thought

was great and I am not above letting characters other than the lead get big moments. However, my big problem with the show is that it never let Hiddleston have a similar moment that

had.

The show never gave Hiddleston the chance. And no, I won't accept the moment where he ruins Mobius's salad as an argument to the contrary.

What I want to know is where the TVA exists.

I assumed it existed "outside" of the timeline somewhere, similarly to the temple, but the ending suggested that the TVA can suffer variance as much as anywhere else on the timeline?
