Not sure if I will keep the time bar on the front cover behind the characters. ??

Can I get a link to the hi res image ! I like it ! Well done.

Made a Blu-Ray cover for WWE Royal Rumble 2012 today.

Wanted to go for something classy and classic.

And horribly BORING! But a nice retro-feel cover.

I used the SCRE4M as that's what is used in all advertising for the film, otherwise it would have read SCREAM 4 like the other sequels. Your suggestion is cool for someone looking to do a lot of custom artistic work but I tend to preffer to stick with the original designs. Well until the studios start paying me to create my own

In the past, I saw a custom cover for the Criterion Benjamin Button release, one for the clear Criterion case. I think it had this art. Does anyone have this?

To continue the Hitchcock covers I started, I figured I'd go back and do covers for (at least) all his major films, using original art. Which is good in theory, but there's some really bad original art (Psycho, The Man Who Knew Too Much)... I had to recomposite several of these so far to even fit the dimensions of a blu, and none are clos eto finalized... just figured I'd share. I'll continue with fronts for TMWKTM, Suspicion, Lifeboat, Strangers On A Train...

Very! Very! Nice.

Only bit i'm not sure about is the white box on To Catch A Thief cover, too obtrusive.

Nissen and i are currently working together on Scream series customs, so far they're looking great. They're keeping the look and feel of the original images but with new elements.
Will hopefully reveal all when complete

Retablo. Great work on the Hitchcocks. The Rear Window poster is great!

I did a proposal for a To Catch a Theif cover for a commission that fell through a few months back. It never progressed beyond this stage:

Speaking of Hitchcock and original artwork, I agree that not all the vintage posters are golden, but I can usually find something to work with.
Here's a Psycho commission I did:

Not saying I disagree, that's just how the original poster looked.

I like that To Catch A Thief... I might steal it

The problem with Psycho is there just isn't any good original art for it. Same with The Man Who Knew Too Much, NxNW, Strangers On A Train (although the Warner DVD used the original art on their DVD, it's just not great). So many of those 50s films were just bad cutouts pasted together in a collage. Oh well. I was originally trying not to alter them too much, and keep the original posters intact, but I might have to.

sorry about the poor resolution of the front of that one ^
there are no higher available versions of that image
should these just print to the appropriate size, or does some tinkering need to be done? Sorry, I'm new to this.

Dude those are awesome!! That goes for your earlier Hitch covers as well, which suplex the disasters MGM/FOX used.

Hopefully the studios follow your lead when they get to releasing these.

Well done. Psycho looks good with the blue matching up with the case. I also like Rear Window and Vertigo.
