Those looking for a hot deal on that classic David Lynch title, Wild at Heart, look no further as it has drastically dropped to $18.99 (was $17.24 yesterday) .

Ok, I've never seen the film but I anticipate doing so when it's released in a couple weeks, so I shouldn't oversell it- but hey, that's a pretty good deal for a new Shout! (Select) release here in Canada.

$20 for BR 2049 is a steal. Was an absolute IMAX experience, and hopefully the 4k HDR version isn't too far off (despite B-R.com comments on framing being slightly less impressive).

Also picked up Dunkirk. That movie looks to be gorgeous on 4k HDR as well, judging by the screens on BR's reviews. Caught that one in IMAX too and it was an experience unlike any other Nolan film.

Was fortunate enough to watch Dunkirk in Chicago at their recently renovated IMAX theater. Easily the greatest IMAX movie I've ever experienced. The first gun shot made me jump out of my seat.

Amazon has a decent price for the Resident Evil 6 disc bluray collection.

Looks gorgeous on regular 1080p blu-ray too on a nice 100 inch screen

Had to contact Amazon and ask for a refund of the difference because it doesn't really seem in good faith to guarantee the lowest price for a pre-order and then drop the price 30 mins after it gets shipped out (on release day)... usually their prices go UP on release day, not down. Perhaps they're matching somewhere?

Likewise, I pre-ordered......

Doesn't Amazon automatically update price changes upon launch date. (should we get refunded right away?) Damn I am gonna have to contact them today, Question is do I use the extra cash now to order the beauty Steelbooks?

I actually cancelled my pre-order just the other day, not sure why, got cold feet... I'm back in at this price.

Edit: Apparently my purchase also got me $15 off the new Jurassic World movie, don't recall that when I pre-ordered previously, so for those doing price adjustments try and get that too.

The rep I chatted with online said they charge the lowest price at the time of shipping. So if it "shipped" at 11pm and the price was $65, and it dropped to $50 at 11:01pm, they wouldn't credit you automatically. I always thought it was the lowest price on the release day of the item, but apparently not (according to the person I spoke with). This has happened a couple times to me in the past, and usually they tell me they're unable to credit the difference so they re-send me the item at no charge and then send me a free return shipping label (which I find an incredibly wasteful procedure). I was surprised when they offered to credit the difference today instead.

Spoke to them and they didn't want to do anything for me at all. Even said I'd be cancelling stuff and Prime and they didn't budge. Sick of stupid policies like this on release day. I spend thousands a year on Amazon.

I have drastically used Amazon less and less now over the years to the point I barely even look at them now. I'll check Walmart and Best Buy first for movies, and even imports from the US over dealing with Amazon.

They may have the occasional good deal on, but then I try to just Price Match them elsewhere like with today's JP set.

Wow! This is shady business practice. They advertise they will price guarantee you on pre-orders until they ship but reduce the price after the shipping?

That's just wrong.

^ They've been doing this for at least a couple of years now. Ever since they removed all their CS policies that we used to like, and jacked their prices.

You guys are totally ruining the Amazon Complaints thread.
