Clowney is the best defensive lineman we're had in quite awhile. And he's still a pup! He's ineligible for the draft this year, but if he was, he would be the unquestionable #1 pick.

Does the hypocrisy ever end for Governor Corbett? This is the same fool who dragged out the Sandusky investigation for over 3 years when he was PA Attorney General. He and his staff were also responsible for giving $3 million in state funds to Sandusky's charity while Sandusky was under investigation. This guy is an embarrassment.

Yeah, I figured Stanford would win, and possibly big. People really seem to underestimate Stanford. Their only losses were to Washington early in the year and then to ND in OT. Since FRESHMAN Kevin Hogan has started (last 4 games), they're 4-0 and all those wins have been against ranked teams. They beat #2 USC, they beat #2 Oregon, and a whole host of other ranked foes. They're really solid. Love David Shaw's play calling so far.

How many Tight Ends does Stanford have. Freaking Levine Toilolo is 6-8 and Zach Ertz is a beast. Think last year they had Coby Fleener too.

Why is the Cotton Bowl played so late? They playing after all of the BCS games. I almost forgot about it.

Funny how some teams end up more successful immediately after losing superstar QB's.

When Peyton Manning was at Tennessee they went 0-4 against Florida and failed to win a national title. The year after he left they beat Florida, went undefeated and won a national title.

Stanford never won a PAC-12 championship with Andrew Luck but did so after he left this season and look set to win the Rose Bowl today.

Northwestern won their first bowl game since 1949. They were 0-9 in bowl games during that span. How is that even possible these days with just about every team making a bowl?

yep. amazing that the Badgers have been able to come back from down 14 to make it a game by sticking to what they do best - running the ball.

if Bielema was still coaching the Badgers i would say there is no chance they win this game since it's close

but since Alvarez is on the sidelines today, they have a shot.

a good game of two solid defenses is always fun to watch

Pat Fitzgerald is likely to become an icon at Northwestern. we went there, is quite beloved already and has turned the team around and now with a bowl win for the first time in forever? might as well begin making a statue of him lol
