'strong' 3D? that's a bit generous. The 3D is good in them but I wouldn't exactly call it strong.

Due to media hysteria dating all the way back to the early days of home video, UK ratings have to be on discs, sleeves and spines over a certain thickness. They made them larger recently too, particularly on games.

Thankfully some companies have been using removeable stickers (most often on box sets and lenticular sleeves) while others (e.g. Arrow, Powerhouse and 88 Films) have been doing reversible sleeves as the Germans sometimes do.

Australia is another country where media hysteria has resulted in mandatory art-destroying ugly ratings.

And how much safer has all this artwork-wrecking made kids (it's always about protecting the kids)? No safer at all, I bet.

This was rather delightful with little to no ghosting on my tv. In addition the depth was consistent it was about on par with most Disney's animated conversions. I would say this looks about the same if not better than Winter Soldier. It definitely looks pretty good for a movie with not much action.

I really wanted Prometheus in 3D as I thoroughly enjoyed it that way in the theatre but only owned the 2D Bluray. Predator is the bonus.

Well, I'll have to buy "The Three Musketeers" after all.

My friend got that and "Pompeii" at the same time and mixed up the 3D purchase. Already have "Pompeii". I told him the least he could have done was to bring in a Three Musketeers candy bar instead to relieve some of my disappointment.

It definitely seemed strange at first having demons, gargoyles, and Frankenstein all into the same realm. After checking my brain in at the door I thoroughly enjoyed it. As for the 3D, I thought there was decent amount of immersion and 3D separation. It's not the most "Wowing" presentation by any stretch, but I thought it faired better than than I was originally expecting. Certainly worth the $5 that I spent to pick this title up!
Hi aetherhole,

You and me both. Story was unique and the 3D was quite good. I also got it at a cheap price so if other's don't have it yet, recommend adding it to their collections.

I've been pre-ordering everything in sight from Amazon.

Lego Batman 3D, Ghost in the Shell 3D, Kong: Skull Island 3D

I'm basically done chasing 3D new releases in retail.

You never know who's going to carry what anymore.

No wonder Amazon is hitting $1,000 per share...

Also, thanks to whoever mentioned Jaws 3(D) at Walmart.

I got the last copy off the Shark Week endcap for $7.88 only.

Thanks Joe, I appreciate the validation. I'd heard similarly that the negative reviews of Predator 3D were inaccurate. I prefer the opinion of those that use their hard earned dollars like yourself.

At a local Disc Replay, Jumper 3D for $5.99 with Lenticular slip!

I have a DVD from back in the day, this might be a bit of fun to revisit in 3D.

You can say "You told me so" since you mentioned this in your earlier post!

I noticed that Best Buy's price for this title went back up to $12 dollars this week. At $12 it isn't too bad still...

Did we see the same disc? I admit I saw this a very long time ago but I remember that 3-D was quiet well done there (Except for a mistake during the start of the movie where they put layered depth separation between night sky stars).

I saw this on a projector in 3D at my home and it felt as if I was really inside the jungle with Arnie's team. Had a great time watching this and never noticed DNR.

I remember liking the 3D too. Makes me want to revisit it and check it out.
