Jurassic Park just doesn’t hold up on repeat viewings. The first half hour or so are a great setup but then once the annoying kids take center stage and Hammond becomes disinterested in what’s going on the film slows to a crawl. It’s actually dull. Like right after the TRex initial scenes. The film of cours wowed me as a kid but I’ve lost all interest in ever watching to again. Tried the other night and lost interest about halfway through.

Other than the unquestionably groundbreaking effects, I never cared for Jurassic Park. It was the very definition of an "event film"; it was also the first movie in my area to be shown with DTS sound. I love Sam Neill, but the characters in this movie are bland and the story is weak.

I've never owned any of the JP movies on any format. That isn't going to change.

Brian De Palma's THE BONFIRE OF THE VANITIES has some good stuff in it. It's certainly not a perfect film, but it holds my attention every time I watch it.

I watched it for the first time and was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. I actually think Bruce Willis was miscast. I thought he was too dull for the role.

Yeah, Willis was definitely miscast. In the book THE DEVIL'S CANDY, about the making of the film, other names were considered, including, I believe, Steve Martin.

I think Steve Martin and John Lithgow were considered. Those two would’ve been my dream casting.

X2 and Logan are still the best Marvel films ever made.

Instead of some fake, staged and studio production. They're great films that work both as a stand-alone movie and as a franchise movie on itself. I really liked Jackman's Wolverine here despite him starring in the atrocious XMOW, and the third act was emotional.

Say what you want, but Logan is the 3rd best comic book movie ever made.
