You can get into the new raid at level 27. I had to respawn 6-7 times before the door moved close enough that my Warock(27) could get the chest.

Follow the path towards the light, take a left at the path and head towards door. If there is a chest it will have an orange diamond above it. If you don't see the chest die and repeat until you get it.

I've read that a hunter with bladedancer and the sure foot perk can semi-solo the first part. The team stays at the beginning while the hunter runs to the bridge plate area. He should circle each light 2-3 times, but shouldn't worry about the enemies (he can throw grenades at his feet as he runs from light to light, which will take out some). When he gets to the end, he should not trigger the last light, and can either die or hop-up on a nearby rock. The rest of the team simply walks (slowly) to the end, where they will need to kill all of the enemies. Striker Titans can help thin the herd at the end, but supposedly you'll not encounter any enemies during your walk.

what does it take to get to this 1st chest??

do you need a team of 6 to start the raid like the VOG or can you get there by yourself??

Can go in solo. Just jump down and it'll be a door to left of the first light. If the door doesn't have a yellow light on top then it won't be there, simply wipe and go again until it pops.

I'll probably plug it in and get all the updates started in the morning but I won't get to play until 8:30ish that night. Hopefully the updates will all be done by then.

Think I've shared this before but http://destinystatus.com is a nice website that lets you see all your character's progression and lets you know how much xp you need on each bubble plus faction rep for each guy.

Its nice to use instead of having to go back to the tower.

Yeah you should be good then. I only mentioned it because even as an adult I hate having to wait to play with my new toy. Like when I was a kid and got a remote control car for Xmas and you had to charge that battery for like 8 hours the first time.

I hadn't used that one yet, it's pretty nice. I usually use this one Destiny Tracker.

Anyone want to go today on the new raid? About noon or 1 central, or 2? I'd be up for a late nite run for a change, too. Wife works tomorrow, and I don't. It kills me that I have not been through it once yet. It's been over two days now. The VoG only took me two weeks after the first earnest attempt.

Yup!! Got my Titan and my hunter is a few bounties away now. It'll help since mobs are 31 and 32.

We started one we have yet to finish, so there's that. It was slow, as we only had a general idea of what we needed to do. I think with what's been posted now, we could advance with a good effort. We were managing at 29 and 30. It's not hard mode, so you can revive your mates.
