No sales for me....I got out of that rat race a long time ago. I couldn't handle dealing with customers any longer.....now I support those that do.

See? I knew you'd been in sales....tho you probably told us that. I could just tell from your reaction.

Hey Chris, I watched most of the first season of How I Met Your Mother last night. Are they going to continue with Bob Saget and those kids at the beginning of EVERY episode?

I used to be a branch manager, and we had sales goals (certain $ amounts of loans we had to book each month).....hated it.

Setting and meeting goals...not something I've ever cared for in the work world.

Back when I worked commission goal setting was somewhat simpler....when it was about me and my paycheck. But as far as the store goals, the group goals...those aren't my thing.

Afternoon, Chris...

Wow, my body (specifically, my posterior!) sure is going to hate me tonight - Just ate Mexican for lunch, tortilla chips, burrito, taco, and beans, all totally SLATHERED with XXX Habanero sauce... not even thinking, I forgot I already have plans to meet my brother and his wife at a local bar on the way home from work, for $3.95/doz Wing Night - Mmm, SUICIDE wings with extra sauce...

I pity anyone who tailgates me on the way home tonight...

Yea, those LED TVs' are freakin' THIN indeed, like 1.2 inches in diameter. Too bad you weren't thinking (or maybe you were ) about this Before all the great BF deals everywhere. Saw a 50" Panasonic Plasma deal at BB for $819 (1080p) & $700 (720p), so I can imagine some nice prices for 60-65" ones.

Check your local Army/Navy Surplus store for Gas Masks. They should have some in stock for $19.95 or so.

Oh man, my little daughter just went to get her first immunization and the doctor told my wife that Sabrina has a heart murmur.

I'm so worried, I'm going crazy! I can't leave work.

Breathe easy...she'll be alright....you being with her right now isn't going to make so much a difference that you have to ditch work or worry. And remember, worrying never helps the situation anyway.

Take a few deep breaths, remember her face.....lucky you weren't there for the shots...they hate those....but they recover soon.

What better place to have discovered something than at the doctors office

They couldn't give her the shots because of the heart murmur, we have to see a Cardioloigist in the morning.
Think I'm going to be sick.

It isn't that uncommon buddy, so try to relax a bit. At her age, everything is still developing and growing. It is something you want to monitor sure, but I wouldn't become overly concerned.....I think you'll see when you talk to the cardiologist.

Thanks John, yeah I'm just so worried. I guess this is the tough part of being a parent.

Yes it is....the unknown, the feeling you can't do anything......it all creates more anxiety upon itself. The thing to focus on is simply doing what you can, and that would be to see the cardiologist. I wouldn't dwell past that, for it can then drive you absolutely crazy and you'll be consumed by worry over something you have no control over, which won't change anything.

Thanks...okay I'm good. Just read this as well.

Parents often panic when they are told their baby has been diagnosed with a heart murmur, yet do not realize that heart murmurs are actually common in babies and that, in general, they resolve themselves without affecting the baby's overall health. It is extremely important for parents to understand which type of murmur their child has been diagnosed with, if it requires further evaluation and treatment options available if the result is a serious heart defect.
