....lol, I know, it's been slow going since I"ve trimmed about 100 titles the last couple months, review crap that I'll never watch again. so those last few are slowly creeping along

Seriously, I just ordered a few more which will put me in the 700 Club.

Even if I won the frickin' lottery, I couldn't imagine having 3,000 BDs.

I'd definitely have to build a new house - just for my videos!

Well it's been about 7 months since I've joined the club. Seems like I hit a wall or something traveling at a snails pace here. Only added roughly about 60+ titles since then (Also unloaded a few that just didn't make the cut). Although I'm looking to catch up on some Criterion titles next month during the B&N sale

Gone from 1680 down to 1540 over the last two months. I spent a lot of time in April just staring at titles that I know I haven't watched in years and pulled them. By the time I get done with selling I'll be down to around 1400 or so. It was way past time to prioritize.

I've been the same way for a few months. Even though I'm close to 1,400, I'll probably won't get there for a while because I've been taking stuff off the shelves and putting it in the trade-in box (only got about 20 titles in there, so far).

It must be a natural cycle...I too have been going through my Blu-ray collection and trimming the titles I bought on a whim which I will never watch.

What "Criterion sale", oildude?

B&N says they have nothing on the schedule & the Criterion site says that the "flash sale" (whatever that was) is over.

Is this national? Because I called my local B&N store just before I posted and the entertainment guy said they had a "buy 1, get one half-off" Criterion sale a couple of months ago - but nothing on the schedule now or next month. And their web site only has noise about their month-long "Get Pop Cultured" event.

Update : I just spoke with B&N national and they say there will be a Criterion sale "sometime this summer", but they haven't anything on the schedule yet and that they would know. I'm not a "member" but I asked if perhaps members would've received a notice with those dates and the woman said "no". I've always heard about these things after the fact, it's been kind of a "white elephant" or abominable snow leopard or whatever. I'm trying to get ahead of this one, but ... it's tough with the crosscurrent reports.
