I am willing to concede that I'm most likely completely wrong. I am a fan of the Fox-Men movies even X-Men Origins: Wolverine (well, maybe just the first half of that one) but I really do think that the introduction of X-Men/mutants into the MCU should be a fresh start like they did with the MCU/Sony Peter Parker. That is not to say that the multi-verse shouldn't come into play with the introduction. I always kind of assumed they would follow in the footsteps of the big merger of the 616 universe with the Ultimate universe in the comics (minus the IMHO awful BattleWorld stories). In the comics, Ultimate Miles Morales (including some family and friends) became a part of the 616 as if he had always been there. My theory would be the same for the introduction of mutants in the MCU; Merged with another universe that has always had mutants and the soft retcon of some events in the MCU (nothing too big or that would pull any of the previous movies, shows, or shorts out of canon).

Again, I am more than likely completely wrong, but that is how I'd do it if I were part of the decision making team.

I'd simply bring over the actors and actresses from the Fox movies who wanted to continue as those characters then recast those who didn't.

They will most likely bring fan favorites. Not expecting Tye Sherdian, Sophie Turner etc to return.

I think if they do carry over any other actors from the Fox X-Men movies it will only be for what’s in-line for Feige’s upcoming plans.

Like say he wants to start X-Men with only the original four from the comics, he could bring over Tye Sheridan and Sophie Turner, but he’d need a new Bobby and Beast if they’re all supposed to be teens or in their 20s. Or it might be less confusing to just recast all four.

I honestly think any carryovers would only be ones that may have an immediate role to play outside of the X-Men films such as how Quicksilver and Magneto could actually have an impact on Wanda’s character.

As much as I liked the X-Verse movies, I don't want them to merge in any way. For something like reality warping and as a way to be some kind of sign of like "wait, what's happening? something's not right" then that's fine... but I personally want MCU to do things right and not bring in existing Fox characters, because not a single one of those were correct (except maybe Deadpool but he basically exists outside of all the universes). I want the mutants to be treated better than they were under Fox, which would require a complete refresh.

There's also the fact that Wanda called him Pietro and he was like yeah, but Fox Quicksilver was named Peter, and for all we know only had the one younger sister... so it could be a 3rd version of Quicksilver just who looks like the Fox version, but I don't think this is some introduction of Fox's mutants to the MCU permanently, it's fanservice to go along with some kind of weird event we really aren't privy to yet, but I do believe this could ultimately be a way to bring them into the MCU in general like they'd been there all along with some kind of light rebooted history as you said.

At least that's what I'm hoping.

Side note: What if Deadpool has had an unknown power to see the multiverse and nobody knew it yet and took it as breaking the 4th wall?

He was an EP but still let The Last Stand happen though, so that doesn't really matter much since he didn't create the stories. They just had to have a Marvel person involved in some capacity no matter how small because it was in association with Marvel. Just think it'd be better to start fresh, cut out any additional comparison to the previous franchise. If they bring in existing characters, we're going to hear a bunch of stuff about how their lives were changed, they lost somebody they cared about, this new world doesn't make sense etc etc. I wouldn't be looking forward to that lol

Oh oh looks like Monika is playing a much more important role on the next episode. I wonder if she goes back in by the top TV.

However, there’s another possibility WandaVision has set up, one that hews a bit closer to Monica’s comics origin. Monica could gain her powers by trying to stop Tyler Hayward from using a new super weapon against Wanda. With the drone incident in episode 5, it’s clear that Tyler escalates situations while Monica believes that Wanda isn’t intentionally harming anyone – and might even relate to her enormous grief over the loss of a loved one, as Monica remembered seeing her mother’s plaque while under Wanda’s control.
Monica mentioned photons among other specifications for a mobile fallout shelter that would be safe from Wanda’s powers and/or the Hex. Tyler has already shown a penchant for adapting observation for more violent means, so it’s not hard to imagine he’d use Monica, Darcy, and that unnamed aerospace engineer’s research to create a weapon on the side and catch Monica in the crossfire.

Wow, that was intense.

Still unsure if there's someone else behind all this and manipulating Wanda since she doesn't remember how she got her power boost. Agnes might be an innocent after all, although I'm still keeping my eyes on her.
