Why do people add listings for films that already have them?

All 3 look to me to have been submitted on the same day, so imo that's not so bad. Not good of course, but all 3 might have been pending simultaneously. It seems to me that ideally whoever's approving would look at all the pending contributions, and what's recently been approved for the same day, and reject the dups. before approving them. But obviously that sometimes doesn't happen.

In the larger picture of dups. I do think it worth mentioning that sometimes there can be other factors, such as when a submitter will have technical glitches that they're not even aware of. For example, I had times with my old computer where I would submit a new title exactly once, but sometimes it would appear in the queue here twice, or even three times. Fortunately, TheDean was great about rejecting many of those (and I'm sure others too).

I can imagine that sometimes one person might create a Blu-ray, but unattached to an already existing Master Movie ID. And then another person, more conscientious, who always starts with the MMI (when available) might look, find nothing attached, and create a dup. listing. Which isn't right, but I can understand it and see how it might happen. I probably made that mistake early on myself.

And sometimes the reverse is just as bad, when there are multiple releases of the same title, but people go in and change the perfectly correct already existing entry in some way to be closer to another release. Though never all the info. Like, I've seen a 4-disc release changed to 2-discs, or a standard edition renamed to be a Wal-Mart exclusive, but the UPC, EAN, ASIN, etc. are always left alone.

Not that it would be at all right even if they did change everything, especially for those who already have it in their collections, it's just that ime it's most confusing when an entry is turned into a hybrid of 2+ different valid releases.

There are new UHD 4K editions that have a DTS:X german audio track but the system dont allow select DTS:X tracks other that english language.

Any reason why the Blu-ray.com Forum no longer shows up in Tapatalk?

I'm using the free iOS version of the app. I deleted and reinstalled it in case it was a glitch, but that didn't help.

If Tapatalk is no longer compatible, can anyone suggest another app?

The people who delete, or otherwise fix, dups rarely mention it. So don't expect feedback.

Sometimes things can be fixed relatively quickly, though there are other reported issues that can be outstanding for a lot longer (at times a year or more). It's not personal, but just something that seems to be lower priority compared to keeping the site running.

Looks like the paging throughout the site is broken. For instance viewing Collections if you try to go to a page other than page 1 you get a 404. This is because the url is messed up. URL for example is https://www.blu-ray.com/community/ww...=228113&page=1

Also happens in /movies Ex: https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/www.b...oid=323&page=1

I imagine it's happening in other locations too.

Here is the reason why Google Play is not in the database. But that was 2015. Maybe thing have changed. It would be nice to have. I don't see why it cant have a sub-forum though.
