I still fully expect Zelda for Holiday 2020. Nintendo needs a huge game to go up against the new console launches and Zelda or Mario is what would do the trick. It's also possible we hear about the next 3D Mario soon.

Except they started working on Smash in late 2015 and had a large base to build off of with Smash Wii U. Metroid Prime 4 started from scratch at end of 2018/early 2019.

I think we are getting Odyssey II next year, instead of a Breath of the Wild II. I´d guess Nintendo will try and launch the next model of the Switch again with a new main Zelda game 2021/2022. Also: It would be great, if they would remake Super Mario Land in the way they currently already released Links Awakening this year. And ports of 3D World and the two Zelda HD remakes.

I've seen some great reviews on that Assassin's Creed Rebel Collection. I never played Black Flag or Rogue before, and apparently the game looks and performs AMAZINGLY in handheld mode. Should invest in a really good set of headphones though haha.

They’ve tended to have one in January focused on that upcoming year’s releases.

Nintendo has said all Smash DLC would be out by Feb 2020 (& it's still on the site https://smashbros.nintendo.com/buy/dlc/) so there will for sure be one in January at least showcasing that.

Fiinally got back into a bit of Gaming here and there in August with the One X. Is the Switch a recommend? I've been meaning to get back into Nintendo(Especially with Smash Bros) since the Wii came out. I kinda want to hear opinions from you guys.

I would definitely say so. Nintendo has put out some stellar titles on the Switch from many of their best franchises, and it looks like there's no slowing down for a while. Along with Smash Bros, I would really recommend Super Mario Odyssey and Zelda Breath of the Wild to start.

My middle child got a Switch Lite as an early Christmas gift, and yeah, this thing is incredible. It's so light! We already have a Switch and the difference in handheld between both is night and day. I'm a bit jealous!

Is there any way to buy games online for Switch without having a Switch tied to your account? I got one but wont be opened until xmas. I see some good deals on a couple digital titles and would like to buy them if I could, so they'll be ready for me when the Switch is opened.

Make a Nintendo account on the website and buy from the web Eshop. Then link your Switch to that Nintendo account when you set it up and you’ll be able to download them.

If it’s deals from other retailers this will just be download codes you can redeem when you get your Switch set up.

You can buy digital games there. Also, once you open your Switch and tie your profile to your Nintendo account, then any future purchases on the website will auto download.

That’s dumb, doesn’t Nintendo want money? I suppose if you have a friend with a Switch that you trust, you can let them log into your account on their Switch, so you can make purchases.

I don't know where to post this, but... hooked up my new Switch, and it plays fine... until every other minute or so it blacks out for a few seconds, like it loses connection. Could it be because I have it hooked up to my Samsung 65 inch 4K TV? or some other reason?
