![]() ![]() same! ![]() No way. The teams match up well but Bama has the better, more opportinistic D imo and i think that will be a big advtange. i could see Bama getting a pick or two and / or a fumble and maybe even a pick six. if Bama gets a lead, it's all over for ND. Bama also has the better QB and they've been here before and won this song and dance, Bama hasn't, in any capacity. 23-10 or something. Bama. ESPN will re-air the game around 4 or 5 am the next morning. at least, they did this with all other bowl games. if you have ESPNU it may be on there as well later in the day. |

Sources are saying Rose and Sugar will be the first national semifinals, with the Cotton hosting the finals in 2015. After 2015, the finals will be bid on like the Super Bowl, while the semifinals will rotate through the Rose, Sugar, Orange and 3 other bowls (likely Cotton, Fiesta and Chick-fil-A).
Rose and Sugar will be on Jan 1, and Dec 31 for the others, except when 1/1 is a Sunday, in which case Rose/Sugar are Dec 31 and the others are Dec 30. There is also a convoluted system for picking the automatic bids to the bowls in non-playoff rotation years. |

![]() Quote:
Here are the spreads for the past few BCS title games which had an SEC team vs. a non-SEC team. 2010 - Auburn favored by 2, Auburn won by 3 2009 - Alabama favored by 4, Alabama won by 16 2008 - Florida favored by 5.5, Florida won by 10 2007 - LSU favored by 5.5, LSU won by 14 2006 - Ohio St. favored by 7, Florida won by 27 All five times the SEC team not only won but beat the spread. What you're saying is a myth. There is no betting bias in favor of the SEC. If anything it's the opposite. |
