I know its super obstructing but I want to keep a level of equality in my cases and unfortunately in the case(unintended pun aside) it created quite the eye sore. I may continue to play around with when I need a break from doing my Ninja Turtle Collection cases. As always I appreciate the input both on the cases and the response to my other inquiry about hi-rez images!

As long as the barcode is accurate.

A lot of cataloging programs go by barcode, so I'm for including them.

I suggest using the same font from the first six film titles on the last four, with the possible exception of Nemesis, because that font is pretty cool. Otherwise, I really like what you've done. I've been waiting for something like this. Thanks!

The first 6 films share the same (similar) font on the posters. Generations and First Contact use another font while Insurrection uses a third. Nemesis uses an "in house" font on the poster that I can't find something close enough to match so I used one similar to the main titles of the film. Same fonts appear on the fronts of the respective films as well the STAR TREK on the fronts of the OC and NG films are as they appear on the posters. But I understand your point of symetry on the spanning spines. It's one of the things you can debate either way over and over with no real correct answer other than what your eye preffers.

While this is a really cool look, and I realize its not your original artwork, I must point out the error in it. The film is called A Clockwork Orange...not just Clockwork Orange. Without the A shape that Alex is inside from the original poster artwork the title is incomplete.

That only seems to be used on their site literature, not on packaging.

Same for Dolby Digital.

Would anyone be up to the challenge of creating a cover for Mesrine Parts 1 and 2? I would so love to be able to house them in one case with some great artwork to accompany it!

Give it time. Dolby has sent the new logos out to all their licensees with the stated goal of "complete transition" by the end of 2012.

So far (nothing fancy, just simple and keeping the original artwork)...

Damn, thats pretty good! I think I would lose the perfect picture banner on the back, and the 2009 cesar awards on the front to make it look cleaner.

What are you thinking of putting on the back?

I think this would look good if you could make it look more Region 1. The info box with the logos at the bottom really messes it up. FYI, the region1 doesnt have special features, except for the trailer.

Yup, I have found the vast majority of artists to be accommodating as long as credit is given, and the design isn't claimed as being theirs. I have used a few from DeviantArt, and all have been happy to help.

I knew you wouldn't mind Bunny, just wanted you to get the credit you deserved!

I'm not too keen on registering for other sites though. Was just hoping to happen upon something before I set out to do my own.
That is why I stick to the legitimate cover sites. Between 9 Covers and R1DB, there are some crap sites that just care about getting as many covers as they can, no matter the cost.

I have given up fighting with them. Pretty well everyone honest in the cover business knows my covers, so I don't need to fight to claim credit!

The only case in my collection I hated as much as Back to the Future was the crappy cardboard Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles case (why did it have to be so freakin' big?!). I have now corrected that. It didn't turn out perfectly, but it's a ton better than the massive cardboard monstrosity that came with the discs, in my opinion.

These pictures don't have great color, but are intended to give you an idea of what it looks like in the case.

Now that the two cases I hated the most in my collection are "fixed," I'm retiring (at least until some schmuck decides to release the Vacation movies in a case shaped like the family truckster or something asinine like that).

You sell them with the case and everything? I could use a Beauty and The Beast cause as of now mines the Dvd size and its annoying. Let me know how much.
